How Digg is Burying Itself?

June 30, 2007 by Orlando

Digg down.jpgThis will go down in history as one of the most ironic decisions by a company. Digg.com’s decision to give CENSORSHIP control of content by use of the bury button will, in the end, bury them.

In the political section CENSORSHIP is rampant. Digg, to its credits, allows the user to “digg up” news articles they prefer so it can reach the “Popular” section (known as the front page) where more readers abide. But Digg also does something remarkably STUPID for an organization. It allows users to CENSOR an article for no logical reason by using the “bury” button. Their motive is a phobic reaction to spam. But spam would never make the front page in any case, because it would never get enough Diggs.

Instead, the political section of Digg gets railroaded by a small group of people who have learned how to game Digg and manipulate the readings.

When an article gets enough “buries” it is literally REPRESSED from Digg forever. BANNED. What ends up occurring is a blatant CENSORSHIP of articles. So, the same genre of articles occurs over and over again–bash the Bush administration, there are injustices in the world, pot smoking, atheism, Ron Paul, and crackpot Truther articles.

Can you imagine a company allowing its customers to bury a product or service, not by supply and demand, but by an elite group? Picture going into Starbucks and asking for a vanilla latte only to be told it was buried. Or envision trying to buy first class tickets on an airline only to be told your request was buried. However, if you wish to be a pot smoking, atheist, Truther you can fly first class. How long would these companies last? Any simple minded person would know it won’t be long before a company hits bottom.

Ironically, in the end Digg will bury itself by use of the bury button.

Kiss My Amnesty

June 28, 2007 by Orlando

There are days and then there are good days for Conservatives. The defeat of the Amnesty bill was a very good day for Conservatives. The only one better was the congressional Class of 1994 take over led by Conservative Newt Gingrich. Why do I love this time? It allows me to cry from the highest mountain–KISS MY AMNESTY! Kiss my amnesty.jpg

Like most Conservatives, amnesty was nothing more than a stinky, dirty diaper needing changing. It was a reward for illegal behavior. And the people spoke loud and clear with a resounding, “Kiss my amnesty and I’m not going to take it anymore.”

To Harry “The Boring” Reid, Ted “The Incoherent” Kennedy, and the whole clan of liberal Democrats looking to shove amnesty down the throat of America we say, “Kiss our amnesty!”

To the turncoat Republicans like Lindsey Graham-nesty, John “I just lost the election” McCain, and the other GOP appeasers not taking Conservatives serious we say this, “Kiss our amnesty and kiss your career goodbye!”

With the defeat of the amnesty bill, we can now get down to business. First, secure the borders and apply existing laws (i.e., build the fence, punish law breaking businesses who hire illegal immigrants, and follow the current rule of law). Then, and only then, once the government has proven its worth, come talk to us hard working Americans about dealing fairly and judiciously with the immigration problem. We will always welcome and will openly reward legal immigrants to this great country.

So, to all you Democrats, Republicans, activists, marchers, and supporters of this disastrous bill…KISS MY AMNESTY!

The Iraq Moratorium: Another Strategy of the American Left to Defeat America in Iraq

June 28, 2007 by Jenn Sierra

It’s called the Iraq Moratorium, and it’s scheduled for the third Friday of every month starting this coming September.

According to the organization’s press release, supporters are asked to pledge:

I hereby make a commitment that on Friday, September 21, 2007, and the third Friday of every subsequent month I will break my daily routine and take some action, by myself or with others, to end the War in Iraq.

and

Moratorium activities will range from wearing black armbands to not buying gas; from writing letters to politicians and the media to vigils, rallies and teach-ins; from special religious services to music, art and cultural events; from film showings and lectures to student-initiated alternative classes.

According to the site’s “Who’s on Board” page, the list of supporters of this latest act of dhimmitude reads like a Who’s-Who of the progressive left in the United States. In addition to the Nation Online and the Daily Kos, celebrity endorsers of the movement include Susan Sarandon, Howard Zinn, Bill Fletcher, Cindy Sheehan, Hany Khalil, Even Ensler, Kathy Engel, Danny Glover, James Carroll, Kathleen Chalfont, and Greg Akili, among others. Organizational endorsements come from the United States Labor Against the War (USLAW), Progressive Democrats of America (PDA), VotersForPeace, and others.

Not surprisingly, this “volunteer effort” is soliciting funds which can conveniently be made via Pay Pal, or mailed to an address in Massachusetts. The money is needed, they claim, for “Staff, people who can carry out the work Spanish, a highly skilled coordinator to vet and oversee volunteers able to translate material for a version of this website aimed at the Latino communities which are the most targeted by military recruiters, Stickers, card & Stuff….”

This is just another of many attempts by the progressive liberals in the United States to subvert their own country, undermine the war on terror, and coalesce to the radical Islamists that the United States is fighting on several fronts.

Bin Laden and his minions must getting a good chuckle out of that.

Will the Real Ron Paul Please Stand Up!

Ron Paul is a man of mystery but the photos below show that he may be even more mysterious than we thought.

Could it be that Ron Paul is actually Ross Perot? Note the picture below. Consider the similarities, not only in their features, but in their personalities–squirrelly, eccentric, slightly whimsical with that semi-nuts look in their eyes. Ross, Ron, Paul, Perot…R.P. initials? We need some serious investigation by the 9/11 Truthers.

Ron Paul - Ross Perot.jpg

There was a rumor going around that Ron Paul was actually a Rugrat, specifically Tommy the Rugrat baby, but our research team has indicated that the chance of this being true would be about his presidential poll ratings (under 2%).

Ron Paul - Rugrat.jpg

We are still trying to confirm whether Ron Paul may or may not have been Pee Wee Herman prior to going into politics. Our crack staff is still working on that story. We will keep you posted.

The Impotent Buriers of Digg

June 26, 2007 by Orlando

Digg impotent.jpgConservatives on Digg.com know them well. You submit a conservative-based article and it is buried.** These liberals are “The Impotent Buriers.”

Why impotent? Impotent refers to sterility, weakness, inability, gutless, and ineffectual. The Impotent Buriers, you see, lack the ability to effectively communicate their ideas on an equal level with Conservatives. Because of this impotence, this inability to defend their position based on facts, they must resort to a function authorized by Digg.com that allows them to censor others. It is pure weakness!

I used to feel contempt for the impotent ones but now I realize they are to be pitied. Imagine being so spineless, so lacking in communicative abilities, and so incompetent that they must resort to iron curtain controls because “they can” (their words, not mine). This cut-and-run decision making helps us to understand why liberals have such an appeasement mentality; why they are quick to bow down to the feet of extremists. You see, the impotent have no stamina to defend themselves.

In the REAL world there are no “bury buttons.” Sadly, these Impotent Buriers are relegated to the make believe world of Digg.com where they unrealistically live defending their fiefdom of ideology, not with ideas, but with a bury button. What pitiful impotent souls they have become and they don’t even realize it.

**Buried or Bury: The ability of a user on Digg.com to censor news articles because it is not liked.

What is a Conservative?

June 24, 2007 by Orlando

Have you ever wondered what a conservative really is? The name is bantered about under so many different definitions. Conservatism is actually multifaceted but has some core principles.

Here’s how Wikipedia puts it:

Conservatism is a relativistic term used to describe political philosophies that favor traditional values, where “tradition” refers to religious, cultural, or nationally defined beliefs and customs. The term is derived from the Latin, conserva-re, to conserve.

But what is it that we are conserving? The answer is threefold:

Culture: These are the ones wishing to preserve the culture of the nation. To put it succinctly, it is the preservation of borders, language, and culture. With it comes a sense of patriotism for one’s country, flag, and the defense of that culture.

Devine Being: Conservatives believe in a devine Being–a Creator. Personal faith in a God and, to a lesser extent, in religion is central to maintaining one’s culture, family, and spiritual well-being. This has led to issues like right to life, rejection of embryonic stem cell research, and other faith-based views.

Individual Responsibility: Taking personal responsibility is a cornerstone of conservatism. This suggests a smaller government viewpoint vs. a government that takes care of you cradle-to-grave. The credo of conservatives is best stated by Ronald Reagan, “Government is not the answer to our problems, government is the problem.”

You will note I don’t list Neoconservative here. Neoconservatives, by its very name, indicates “new conservative.” As Wikepedia points out, neoconservative are “newly conservative ex-liberals.” Neoconservative is also a derogatory word used by liberals but, ironically, most do not even know the root stems from liberalism. In the last few years, it has been used to define those with a more assertive foreign policy but that misses the principles of conservatism.

So, conservatism is based on these three areas–conservation of culture, belief in a Devine Being, and individual responsibility. One can be a conservative holding true to one or two of these areas. Conservatism, by the way, is more like a continuum. Some will have a strong focus on one area but not another. Most American conservatives, I would venture to say, believe in all three.

Consequently, when liberals ask you why you support the Iraq war, disagree with the current immigration reform, feel betrayed by secularism, don’t believe in government spending, or support prayer in school, you can point them to these three pillars of conservatism.
