Wikia “is a community destination supporting the creation and development of over [3,000] wiki communities for any topic people are passionate about…Wikia content is free to read and open to anyone to edit.”

A couple of fun wiki communities are Wookieepedia (for Star Wars fans, of course!) and the Uncyclopedia (intentionally content-free misinformation – hillarious!).

There are wiki “hubs,” which are broad categories like education, gaming, politics and activism. In the politics and activism hub, there are eight wikis with over 500 pages each, inlcluding Campaigns, Government, Grassroots, Left Space, Vast Right Wing, SF Homeless, Sustainable Community Action, and a War Wiki, plus a lot of other smaller, more specialized wikis from all over the world.
