Following the “I’m-a-Nut-Job” Debacle on this Blue Monday

cuspoof.jpgPJM Roundup: Mahmoud’s Manhattan Moment Andrew Marcus - on video assignment for PJM - reports that the Port Authority evicted protesters from Ground Zero this morning. Group - including family members of 9/11 victims - was in front of the PATH station protesting possible appearance at Ground Zero by Ahmadinejad.

mahmoudhell.jpgMichelle Malkin is reporting live from Columbia U. See Mahmoudapalooza: The madman comes calling - we’re stationed at Columbia at the front gates on 116th and Broadway. I just interviewed CU undergrad Jacob Kriegel, president of the student Jewish organization LionPAC. There’s a sizable crowd gathering. Many Persian students raising their voices in opposition to Ahmadinejad’s presence. We’ll have video.

HotAir: Now airing on C-SPAN2: Ahmadinejad addresses the National Press Club - You can catch it over the web if you’re not at home by clicking here. And to follow up on my earlier bleg, it looks like the Columbia speech at 1:30 will be carried on the website of CBS’s NY affiliate. I’ll post a reminder of that in the next hour.

swarthymunchkin.jpgSwarthy Munchkin May Still Visit Ground Zero: If not, this may all be a clever diversion so his pal Hugo Chavez or some other oil tick can go desecrate the WTC site. Put nothing past these people.

Neocon News: Tentative for a Reason - To those that would say that something is to be gained by debate with Ahmadinejad, the Holocaust question cannot be reiterated strong enough: If someone can openly question, even question if not deny, one of the most thoroughly studied and proven atrocities in human history for their own political gain, how do you expect that person to be persuaded on anything else? Just ask Ahmadinejad’s spiritual advisor, who is quoted as saying, “…if anyone tells you their own interpretation of Islam, punch them in the mouth!”

cross-eyed.jpgFHK’s TXPoet: The Dummy Speaks - The General Assembly of the United Nations is a good opportunity to present the solutions of the Iranian people to solve the problems of the world,” the president told reporters before leaving….

Previously from TXPoet: Ahmadinijad’s Apocolypse and MENE MENE TEKEL and PARSIN

ahmadinejadFHK’s Orlando: Columbia Students [and Geraldo!] Applaud AhmadinijadThe students at Columbia University gave Mahmoud Ahmadinejad “a rousing round of applause from the audience” according to the New York Daily News. These are the same students who verbally assaulted Jim Gillcrest of the Minuteman Project. They never let Gillcrest speak….

Previously from Orlando: Poll: Should Ahmadinijad be Allowed to Vistit/Lay a Wreath at Ground Zero in NYC? and Shame on Columbia University

ahmagilligan1.JPGFHK’s Nikitas: Ahmadinijad in New York; Gilligan Goes to College - As you watched Iranian “President” Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speaking at Columbia University on September 24, you were struck by a sense of deja-vu. Then it hits you, that this madman is the mirror image of Bob Denver of the 1960s TV sit-com Gilligan’s Island, where a boatload of hapless characters are stranded for several seasons on a deserted island for once-a-week small-screen levity.

aidandcomfort.JPGFHK’s Jenn Sierra: Aid and Comfort at Columbia U. - I wonder if Columbia University will be as open to the free speech rights of its students as it is to America’s enemies, during the National Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week that will take place on its campus, and at least 151 other campuses throughout the nation during October? We’ll see.

Also from JennSierra: (Video) Sure we’d invite Hitler to speak, says Columbia dean
