Hey Libs, Do You Really Want Hillary?

Left and right we hear of the coronation of Hillary Rodham Clinton as the next nominee for the Democratic party and the favorite to win the Whitehouse in 2008.  Liberals, is this truly the person you want representing you?

Is Hillary unstoppable?  George W. Bush has referred to Clinton as a “shoo-in” for the Democratic Party’s 2008 presidential nomination.  Her lead in the polls continues to grow over Barack Obama and John Edwards.  The rose petals are being scattered before her by the mainstream press as she faces few hard questions about her policies, past, or personal viewpoints.  Her ability to calculate every word and move appears to be working. 

The problem for liberals is she does not really represent their outrage.  She has supported the war in Iraq and continues to select her words very carefully so she has many outs if confronted later.  She tap dances around every political question giving a little crumb to one group and a little crumb to another opposing group — just enough to keep people appeased but never satisfied.  She is disingenuous.

Hey liberals, you need to ask yourself these questions:  Do you really want a candidate whose “cold” rating is the highest of all candidates according to the Gallup Poll?  Do you really want a candidate whose past scandals and baggage can lead to swift boating faster then John Kerry can say, “reporting for duty?”  Do you really want a candidate who is so calculating she makes robots seem human?  Do you really want a candidate that would guarantee a Republican congress in 2010?

If the answer is yes, then enjoy your candidate because you know, and I know, she will never give you what you want.  If the answer is no, then you should get passionate to defeat Hillary very quickly.  The clock is ticking in favor of her.
