The FHK Project is a development of a group DannoJYD started in late 2006, to rally the conservatives on Digg.com. We met on Delphi Forums at that time, and have grown into what you see here. Danno’s patience, loyalty, and sense of humor have been invaluable in growing our team. Here’s an excerpt of a recent e-mail from Danno:

DannoJYD Update: I spent Saturday in Chitcago* visiting my father, aka. Mr. Happy because he never is.

His lifeline to the World [television] decided to take a Digg**, so I offered to replace the damn thing [about 2 months ago]. Having caught up with our contracts at work I could finally deal with correcting this flaw in his life. He didn’t like having to use a telescope to view his alternate 12″ television.

Buying anything for dear ol’ dad is a pestilential task at best. I’ve lost count of the number of times that he has sent me packing along with the items I’ve purchased for him, but lo and behold, the dear [ol' fart] actually loved the idiot tube I picked out.

Instead of going with one of the oh-so-popular [and way too expensive] flat screen televisions, I chose a 27″ Magnavox that has both a DVD player and a VHS VCR built in. Yes Ron, it is not only Digital capable but it managed [with some difficulty] to tune in several existing digital channels. This amazing piece of … technology is able to play his favorite music CD’s as well. Al Jolsen never sounded so good.

I would like at this time to mention CBS. I know for a fact that they have spent several ‘illions in their attempt to get their signal to the South Side [a mere 10 miles away], but how they manage to also ruin their new digital signal remains a mystery to me. Occams Razor suggests that Michael Moore was in charge of signal tech.

I also was able to purchase a powered antenna which he needs due to his demanding to place the boob tube in the #1 worse location for reception in the entire 2 story, 9 room house. To dad, cable is the round wire on the back of the television.
I was gifted with what remains of the broken TV along with the several remotes it took to operate his home entertainment system. Would anyone like a 80 lb. high tech paperweight?

Poor ol’ dad. My youngest grandson continues to react like Joseph Mangala is persuing him when dad so much as glances at him. It embarrasses him to no end while amusing the heck out of me. It took a gallon of sweets to get my ankle crusher to calm down, but one could hardly call the result calm. Little chit was fired up like a child’s race track car being fed with 440 voltage
Hell, I’m still buzzed over the fact that he managed to squeeze out a smile. For him to do so is akin to pushing out a quarter sized kidney stone that is all rough edges. Ouch!

The trip was fairly uneventful. The highway was almost void of any road repairs [I guess I'm asking too much from Chitcago] so the 2 hour trip only took me 3 [times 2] hours.

I continue to find myself amazed that the children’s car seats that we are forced to buy to keep the kids safer still allow the tykes to bounce around like balls in a fast pinball machine. I’ll be spending my second day off hammering in the dents that resulted just as soon as I get through dealing with the hundreds of e-mails I received [thanks guys!]. Perhaps some industrious chap could manage to develop a child seat which works more like a straight jacket with an optional gag …

Thank GOD for my daughter. Without her I would have been lost. It was her nazi-like efforts that kept me from completely [again] losing my mind. My eldest grandson doesn’t appreciate the talent it takes to smack him on the fly, yet the ankle crusher enjoys her efforts when she manages to chase him down. I cannot dive under tables the way she does.

I’ll be glad to get back to work. I need the rest.

Obama: America's Biggest Mistake Waiting to Be Made

An Interview With Kathleen Parker, Author Of "Save The Males"

John: Now, the average left-wing feminist response to your book is probably akin to, "Ah, men have the advantage in every way. Why would anyone need to 'save the males?'" What would you say to that? Kathleen: You're exactly right. I get a lot of that and what they point out generally is that men head most of the corporations and men dominate in the Congress. While that is statistically true, what I try to do in Save the Males is show where our current trends are leading...(Right Wing News)
