Liberals will tell you that women voters are easily manipulated. Any man who has tried to talk a woman into doing something she didn’t want to do should know better. Bill Bachilla, a left coast indoctrinated academic who is now a teacher claims here no woman should vote Conservative because Conservatives are ruled by the Bible, which states that “the Christian club teaches that woman are inferior to men, and that they were created for the sole purpose of serving man.”

Funny, I was raised in a Christian home and that’s not quite the way I remember it. First let’s just examine what the Bible is. It is a book written, rewritten, translated, mistranslated, miscopied, abused, altered and misused by man. Unless you read the original Aramaic and Latin manuscripts you are reading interpretations. I am sure everyone has seen examples of several people seeing the same thing and all having different versions of what they saw and heard.

The Bible has many quotes, which some people take out of context, and cite as reasons women are inferior to men. When you consider the time in history and read you will find that in the New Testament Jesus treated women as equal. He tasked men with protecting them. This doesn’t mean that they are inferior, it means they are valuable and worth protecting for without them man cannot survive. Women throughout the Bible are held in high esteem and valued above the price of rubies. Perhaps Mr. Bachilla should read the Wikipedia article Christian Views About Women.

I do not know of an honest man who would deny that women have shaped his life or that the counsel of women is often insightful and useful. The adage behind every great man is a woman is very true. Christian Conservatives who would subjugate women to an inferior role are not only in the minority but blind to the truth. Man needs woman a lot more than they need us. They (women) do not have the tunnel vision that we men sometimes develop due to ego. Men and women are part of the same not separate teams.

If mankind is to progress and grow it will the women who guide us. We need them!
