A Short Guide to Iraq (in the 1940s)

This is an interesting read. It is a “War Department” pamphlet called the “A Short Guide to Iraq.” In it, the author describes the smells and experiences of being in Iraq when fighting against “Herr Hitler.” It gives you insight into the Department of Denfense circa 1940s. The Do’s and Don’t section is quite interesting and I encourage you to look at that too.
