Podcasting at the CLC ‘07

Podcasting at the Conservative Leadership Conference in Reno, NV this year was hosted by John, McJunkin, of Avalon Podcasting. John is pictured here (on the right) with Jonathan Cornwell, founder of GOP Hub.

This was my first experience with podcasting, and John made the process relatively easy, painless, and actually fun.

We’re hoping to update a link to my interview with GOP Hub’s Jonathan later today, on the topic of conservatives in the Web 2.0 environment. Jonathan explained that in order to be successful on social networking sites like GOP Hub, bloggers who are trying to promote their blogs are welcome, but need to become part of the community rather than simply spamming sites with their posts. He also explained his site welcomes reasoned debate and varying opinions but open hostility and threats would not be tolerated.
