The DREAM Scheme

What Part of no new amnesty do Democrats, RHINOs, and George W. Bush NOT understand? Harry Reid is trying to ram through the DREAM Act (S. 2205), which is a de facto amnesty bill. It would enable permanent (not one-time) amnesty for more than just teenagers, by invoking Rule 14 and bypassing debate.

Amnesty has already been rejected by the American people this summer but the pro-amnesty schemers don’t seem to care. Therefore, they are trying to do an end around. In typical political back room maneuvering, they have introduced this amnesty bill that would enable legal status for criminal behavior.

Proponents of the DREAM Act say that children shouldn’t be punished for the crimes of their parents, but this amnesty would allow these amnestied “children” (anyone up to age 29 can apply) to sponsor their parents for green cards - thus REWARDING their parents for their crimes.

You need to call or email your senators now. Don’t sit around and hope they vote for your interests over the interests of illegal immigrants.
