rudynpat.jpgOf all of the serious contenders for the Republican nomination for the 2008 presidential race, who is the most socially liberal, politically and professionally? (Serious contenders…sorry, Paulies) Wouldn’t it have to be the one who has been married three times, and supports legalized abortion and gay marriage?

Now, who would you expect a man who recently blamed the 9/11 attacks on America’s stand on abortion and pornography to support in that bid for the Whitehouse?

Well, someone other than Giulliani, but that’s exactly what he’s doing:

Robertson:

It is my pleasure to announce my support for America’s Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, a proven leader who is not afraid of what lies ahead and who will cast a hopeful vision for all Americans. Rudy Giuliani took a city that was in decline and considered ungovernable and reduced its violent crime, revitalized its core, dramatically lowered its taxes, cut through a welter of bureaucratic regulations, and did so in the spirit of bipartisanship which is so urgently needed in Washington today.

Giuliani:

I am very encouraged by Pat’s support. His confidence in me means a lot. His experience and advice will be a great asset to me and my campaign.

I wonder if Giuliani is planning to help Robertson with that assisination plot on Hugo Chavez?
