This comment section is for the readers of Ft. Hard Knox, a place for political conservatives to share information about online activism. We are not "fair and balanced," and we aren't refereeing a "free speech zone." Intelligent, funny, and on-topic comments are welcome. Trolls, spam, and liberal propaganda are not. We may occassionally approve a comment with an obvious lefty-slant so that we can amuse ourselves by making fun of it, but most will be deleted. (Why? Because we're busy, we have lives, and when we want to talk to you we'll go visit you on Digg or the Daily KOS.)
This is a private blog, and we reserve the right to make up our own rules as we go along. The few comments which manage to squeak by our censors reflect the opinion of the commentator, and not necessarily the staff of Ft. Hard Knox.
Hint: One sure-fire way to get your comment sent directly to the "spam" folder is to call us "racists" for disagreeing with a policy of the current POTUS or speaking out against terrorism.

They all know that Rudy’s the one who’s going to pick up the gauntlet – certainly the only one of them with the will and capability. Michael Eisenstadt wrote a great piece tonight about the lessons of Annapolis and how it puts the debate between Rudy vs. Mitt in that context. Pretty provocative stuff: http://michaeleisenstadt.com/2007/11/28/a-lesson-learned/
It was a poorly moderated hash of idiotic questions. It’s ashame that the potential of youtube was wasted by CNN’s imcompetence.
At first I was disappointed by the way Anderson Cooper avoided Ron Paul. However, now I’m glad that Ron Paul had little to do with this embarrassing spectacle.
Every poll I have taken on every site I can find puts
Ron Paul in the lead by a landslide,
Ron Paul 2008
I watched a most of this embarrasing youtube “debate”. Mitt Romney came across as a smug, spoiled pretty boy with the brains of a cockroach. Giuliani was equally smug and contemptious. McCain was un-nerving with his quest to escalate our involvement in the Mid East. Thompson was looking like he was in a hurry to get back to his bottle of scotch. Ron Paul was ignored for the most part or fed rediculous questions yet he yielded answers intelligently…the rest should not have even been up there. I particularly liked Ron Pauls reply to the question about the CFR…. Go Ron Paul!!!
There was no winner to last nights debate. Yankees/Red Sox? Confederate flag? Also, split the time among the candidates equally. Waste of my time. The big loser to me was Romney. How many times can he answer “I’ll have to ask someone else what their opinion is on that”.
John McCain I think did the best out of the candidates, though his joke about the bear’s DNA being a “paternity or criminal issue,” was an old won he told at previous debates.
Rudy and Mitt looked like serious idiots, in a cry-baby cat fight. Mitt got worse as the debate went on, failing to answer any of the questions.
Fred just took up air time, being a dead weight. You’d think an actor could do better. Plus the attack ad was a little early.
If McCain didn’t win this, than Huckabee did. He looked like the only guy up there who wasn’t gray-haired or a liar. He really spoke honestly, and had the greatest one-liner of all, about Jesus not running for public office.
Ron Paul didn’t do as great as he usually does. He looked weak in his debate with McCain, and he rarely got a question. However, near the end, I think he picked up, and at least made himself look better than some of the other candidates.
Tancredo did pretty good with the ad that showed him being better than Hillary, but that’s never actually going to happen.
Hunter did okay, and made sense, but really didn’t have the flair like McCain, Huckabee, and Paul.
Over all, I think CNN did a poor job, though better than at most debates. A.C. should have got Mitt and Rudy to shut up in their squabbles when they were going far over time, and ignoring the honors system.
Some questions were important, though the Red Sox vs. Yankees one was stupid and a waste of valuable time.
Please vote for him since you are commenting on this about how he will win. You can make it happen!
VOTE FOR RON PAUL!!!
This debate was a farce! Am I supposed to believe that these were the best questions that CNN could find?! The stupid Red Sox question was a direct parallel of the Diamonds or Pearls question asked to Hillary Clinton at the end of the CNN Democratic debate. How insulting to the audience! And the ridiculous Confederate flag question from a supposed Ron Paul supporter! Give me a break. Could they be more obvious in their smear attempts? Please save this country Ron Paul!!!
As usual, neo-con radio talkshow hosts played up
all GOP candidates on the YouTube debate
EXCEPT RON PAUL! A highly-controlled mass media
is no better than a state-controlled media. I
remember how much we used to deride the Soviet
Union for its propaganda, masquerading as news, yet,
we have something far worse in Land of the Slaves,
and Home of the Obedient. A mass media that
abuses its First Amendment right to freedom of
speech and willingly accepts the golden chains
of corporate censorship and propaganda. RON PAUL
won the debates, the polls, and that news is
suppressed in a manner that would make Stalin
proud.
It was Ron Paul, watch the other candidates when Dr.Paul is given a “conspiracy” question, most of those candidates are CFR members and just look at the ground, very uncomfortable for them, just like most of the Democratic Candidates… CFR members…. don’t be fooled by the Media Pushers…. Left or Right, it all goes down the same gut.

Ron Paul reminds me of “Doe” from Heaven’s Gates. This guy has some impressive mind-control tactics. Can’t wait to see how he pulls off the primaries!
There is something big happening here! It is a revolution. The main stream media can’t stop it with their censorship it only dicredits their ambitions. Most of those candidates looked like idiots. RON PAUL IS THE MAN.
Why can’t the media reflect the real pole results?
Why can’t they be fair on their questioning?
Why can’t they be fair with air time for answering?
CNN is the looser
I agree that the debate was poorly executed. I expaect better from one of the largest news organizations in the world. Only one debate thus far (moderated by PBS) actually gave each candidate equal air time for the same question. The questions were thoughtful as well. Maybe Univision and Fox will take notice of the poor performance CNN provided and work to improve things for the candidates and the viewers.
