Three Years and Counting..

…from James Richardson, of the RNC eCampaign:
Let’s play a quick game, I’ll say a quote and you guess just who said it. “That’s one of the things the library really stands for. It physically stands for openness with all the glass and the light. But he wants it to be a place where people come and really study. And everything’s going to be available.” Is it A. Barack Obama, B. Hillary Clinton, or C. John Edwards? That’s right, B. Hillary Clinton. How’d you guess? Just three years ago she went on record with Larry King to say that all the records contained in the Library would be released to the public. Maybe she changed her mind when her bid for the White House became a reality.
Nearly three years after the opening of the Clinton Presidential Library and the ensuing Freedom of Information Act Requests, less than half of one percent of the library’s documents are open for review. On the campaign trail, Clinton consistently speaks to her level of experience; yet, she will not allow details of that experience to be reviewed by the public. The American people deserve to know what information is being guarded in these libraries.
“I’m ready to lead” is not too comforting as we take to the polls in less then a year to choose the next President of the United States. Actions speak louder then words, and as of now, Hillary has only been paying lip-service to the American voters.
In an effort to have the Clinton’s release control of Hillary’s White House records, we recently launched our Clinton Library Card Petition. The petition is rapidly approaching the realm of six figures, but we still need your help to get new signatures. If Senator Clinton won’t listen to mere reason, perhaps she will listen to the American public. We’ve see how poll-conscious Senator Clinton’s campaign is, but how petition-conscious is she?
We can do this, but we need your help. Please feel free to contact me for more information on the results of this petition.
