You know the feeling…you’re sitting at your desk at work, and one of your friends sends you to a link that you open, only to find out that you shouldn’t have opened “THAT” one at work! Maybe, for example, it’s a story from Jihad Watch, and you work in an office where everyone including your boss (who walked by your desk about the time a story with a title that doesn’t meet the new “diversity” guidelines) your boss is a proud member of the leftist-islamist convergence.
Your buddy could have helped you keep your job by adding the acronym “NSFW,” which means “Not Safe for Work.” This has been a common term on the web for some time now, but the social psdeudo-news site, Fark.com, in e-mail, and on social networks. Now Fark, where the general feeling is that the phrase originated there. Pehaps it, did.
