UNICEF Photo of the Year: 40 and 11 year old couple

The photo of, you guessed it, Mohammed, age 40 with his new 11-year old wife was selected UNICEFs Photo of the Year. It hardly fits the idea of the happy couple’s wedding picture. It is intended to show life for millions of girls given in marriage while under age.

What is the need of the United Nations to legitimize indentured servitude, slavery, and pedophilia? And, to top it off, for an organization that is supposed to be for helping children.

The more I learn about the ways of Islamists, the more like barbaric primitive cavemen their followers seem to be. And the women are treated as nothing more than yesterday’s newspaper.

A better example for shunning the Useless Nations, or United Nations, cannot be made.

Ross…thanks for your comment. It was exceptional.

We are not "fair and balanced," and we aren't refereeing a "free speech zone." Intelligent, funny, and on-topic comments are welcome. Trolls, spam, and liberal propaganda are not. We may occassionally approve a comment with an obvious lefty-slant so that we can amuse ourselves by making fun of it, but most will be deleted. (Why? Because we're busy, we have lives, and when we want to talk to you we'll go visit you on Digg or the Daily KOS.)
