Why would he drop out? He’s doing better than Rudy, and Rudy is still considered a serious candidate!
Dr Paul’s support is only growing, and largely without the support of the media or even his own party.
Giuliani should drop out; he has had all the support and funding he could hope for, but he can’t get even the votes of Dr Paul.
lol. yeah. Drop out ron paul! Your campaign is insolvent, you don’t have strong support, the grassroots don’t support you, you haven’t even come close t to first plasce yet… I think you should bow out.
……… *contains laughter*
frnnk, its not about winning for ron paul, its about the right to express ones ideas, america is too ignorant and hardheaded to deserve such a honest man for president.
NO! He is the only hope America has to get out of this horrible upcoming time of recession. He has much more knowledgeable about fiscal planning than any other candidate, both democrat and republican.
Ron Paul is a racist old kook. He should drop out, resign, and retire to his front porch rocking chair.
Ron paul may not be winning polls on TV while “bigger” names like Huckabee and McCain are, but he’s winning all the debate polls and he is the one that raised over 4 million dollars in fundraising within 24 hours, he got media coverage for that!
Everybody is trying to shut him out, because that’s what they do to candidates who are trying to make an agenda that actually works, the government wants to stay in control and Ron paul wants to give American citizens back their freedom
RON PAUL 08!
@Israel Uber Alles: he is racist because he wants to stop supporting isreal blindly… grow up u arschloch….
I am from México and if I could vote for a US candidate it would be Ron Paul as despite being a republican, he seems to be the best choice for the world.
I am a large supporter of Ron Paul but he needs to realize that now is the time to throw in the towel. He had some great ideas and great support but he has not come anywhere close in the primaries. Even the candidates who had more support that Paul are dropping out. Personally, I would rather have McCain as president over Romney and leaving Paul helplessly in the race could screw it up for McCain.
Like him or not, good ideas or not, he has no chance whatsoever of getting the nomination. It is clear that doesn’t have a shot despite the efforts of his “fanclub”. Ill concede I like a lot of what he has to say, but let’s be real folks……….it’s not gonna happen.
Ron Paul will stay in the race as long as his supporters are behind him. Because of his message of truth, the number of his supporters grows daily as does their boldness. He will not drop out of this race. Rather, he will run it with courage and integrity until the end.
Bryn,
Don’t just listen to the media. Have a little faith and get the message of truth out! When Ron Paul first ran for Congress, he had no chance either. Now he is serving his tenth term. Look at the way America is destroying lives around the world. This is just the beginning of the Ron Paul Revolution. We must change. We must hope. We must remember that the nomination is not the presidency.
Steve,
McCain wants us to stay in Iraq for 100 years! You’re a huge Ron Paul supporter and now your satisified with McCain? Give me a break. You’re just going to switch teams and philosophies when your man seems to be a little down. At age 72 Ron Paul has given all of his time and energy for the people and for the truth. I encourage you to stand firm for what is true.
Win or lose, it is the message of the constitution, freedom and personal responsibility, that will win. The awareness of the principles of our Republic are spreading across this country that has forgotten them. As long as we hold these ideals as worth preserving, we cannot lose, as others will learn to love liberty through our peaceful revolution. Let us carry this fight on through the nomination, and more importantly in our hearts and lives forever.
I actually gave Ron $100, first candidate I’ve ever given money. I knew it was a waste when I did it. Bill Gates could have donated his $40 billion and Ron Paul would NOT have had ANY chance. This country has become so reliant on government that a Ron Paul is beyond the typical American’s comprehension.
I listened to CNN interview a 30 something waitress in Oklahoma. They asked her what she was looking for in a candidate. Her response … I want a candidate who will make sure I can keep the $35 a year health insurance for my kids that I’ve got now. I pay $220 a month for me and my husband. I can’t afford any more. That just about sums it up for this country.
When the handouts stop flowing to the “you must take care of me” crowd. (or when the dollar is worth a nickel) The rioting, looting and killing will be like nothing this country has ever seen.
what the hell do people see in ron paul anyway??? He’s definitely not presidential material. He’s better off being a professor or a talk show host. he doesnt exude any characteristics of a leader, all he can do is talk his old, tired mouth till it’s dry as the Sahara. Ron Paul should save himself even further embarassment, after Super Tuesday’s ass-kicking, and drop out. People will only mock him further for not doing so.
Paul’s message is not the message of the Constitution. It was written to set a strong federal government, take a U.S. History class. His message seems to be the message of the Articles of Confederation, and we all know how the last attempt at a confederation went. He doesn’t stand a chance at the nomination, so who are all you people going to support when he doesn’t get it, Obama?
McCain is the best choice now. He’s more of a moderate than most of the party would like, but that’s a good thing I think. McCain has served his country, and been injured in the process. I think he knows what he’s talking about when it comes to the war. Whether you agree with why we’re there or not, we’re there. Pulling out troops at this point would be very bad for the people there.
Wrong, john! The Constitution still limited the power of the Federal government to a few specific areas and the 10th amendment specifies that ANY power not specifically given to the federal government is reserved to the states. Does McCain even know that there is a 10th amendment? If he does, does he care? He didn’t look too bright in responding to questions about finance and monetary policy – check the clip:

As for being in Iraq, the answer isn’t to continue putting American soldiers in harm’s way to either a)get to the happy ending so Bush’s legacy will be bright and shiny and happy, or b) continue down the endless road of mission-creep and nation-building – if you think Americans should die to rebuild Iraq, you should join up and go there yourself – why should Americans be dying to protect some other country – if they have to die in wars, at least the wars should be to directly protect Americans.
America doesn’t like the truth, they like rose flavored decorative descriptions of the world and America’s current policies — so, they don’t like Ron Paul, who explains how he will get them out of the mess that they pretend doesn’t even exist. It’s too bad, their isn’t true democracy in America, and the reason is, is that the media can – and it has in this election- basically determined who the politically mediocre minded people will vote for. This is a fact, and, in my opinion, there is not hope for America to have true democracy — the enslaved masses, ominously, do not even realize how enslaved they really are. It is sad, but that is the way things go. None of those wars are to protect Americans, if you believe that you do not understand the importance of the word Oil, nor the concept of the creation of system of world financial control. However, I do not know if I can blame Americans, it isn’t fair that they should have to dig with a back-hoe to actually understand what really is happening in America — but that is what they are forced to do, if they really are to understand.
Ron Paul is dead! He never had a shot at winning. For all you idiots who think text polling proves he is the favorite you are sadly mistaken. Those polls are so skewed by liberals. He does not represent the conservative republican. Mike Huckabee is the only one who has specific clear answers to our problems today. Stop voting on emotions and start voting on principles and values for change. We are not voting for a king or queen in high school here. Wake up!
I’m pretty sure all of the candidates, democrats included, know all the amendments.
I don’t think Americans should die, but they signed up for the job, you idiot. Part of being a soldier is knowing you may have to go and fight, and possibly die! And if it hadn’t been for other countries fighting for the other guy, the United States would’ve lost the American Revolution.
And what’s with all you Paul freaks and CLIPS. A clip isn’t going to change the world. I’ve been listening to all the candidates in FULL, not clips. What in the hell have been Ron Paul’s solutions. I haven’t heard him lay out any specific PLAN for anything. Stopping the war in Iraq doesn’t provide a solution to anything else, it just stops the war. Freeing up money and people doesn’t take care of the problems, it just frees them up. What does he PLAN to do to fix anything?
Truth is, all of you Paul supporters seem to be so against the government and the current administration, that none of you vote. You obviously don’t vote for Ron Paul. He isn’t winning anything.
And this is the FACT for you mediocre minded people. We’ve never had a true democracy and never will. We have a Democratic Republic. True Democracy doesn’t work. Look into it.
At least someone has an educated vote. Huckabee is a good candidate too. I agree with a lot he has to say. But McCain got my vote, and hopefully will later on.
john, Why don’t you check Dr. Paul’s campaign site for his PLAN? http://www.ronpaul2008.com/Prosperity
I have,
“One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors” Plato.
Maybe you all will vote for whoever gets the nomination. I think you would owe it to Dr. Paul to go out and actually vote in the election, since you haven’t been voting for him. Cause if there are as many supporters of him as everyone says, there should be no reason he is doing poorly in this race.
Yes he should drop out. Now Ron Paul votes are taking away votes from Huckabee. While Huckabee is not great, he is worlds better than John McCain. Ron Paul has ZERO chance of getting the nomination. ZERO! It is mathmatically impossible for him to win it. We need to keep John McCain OUT of he white house, so we need to rally around Huckabee. (Never thought I would be saying that!!!!!!) So yes- Ron Paul– PLEASE drop out. Te votes you take away from Huckabee could mean the difference between saying President McCain and President Huckabee!!!
Yes Ron Paul should drop out. First of all this country doesn’t need another republican. Secondly I seem to live in Ron Paul Country and all I see is Ron Paul signs I want to know where are all the Obama sign are.

“And this is the FACT for you mediocre minded people. We’ve never had a true democracy and never will. We have a Democratic Republic. True Democracy doesn’t work. Look into it.”
WE ARE A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC.
Not a democratic republic.
Look into the FACT the founding father HATED a democratic system.
So the U.S. was designed as a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC.
Oh and Ron Paul has dropped out.. maybe not officially but his “presidential” funds are now being used to try to secure his seat in Congress for an 11th term.
Ron Paul supporters.. BURNED!!!!
Ron Paul is the best choice unless you want you and your kids to be chipped and be a part of the New World Order, One government, one religion, North American Union, no borders and no more USA. He speaks truth and if Americans don’t wake up, it will be to late when they do! The goverment will take away all of your rights to privacy, right to have a gun, and the government will control the media even more than they already do! If McCain wins, it will be a rigged election for sure! How will we explain to our children that all of this happened because we were to apathetic to make a stand?
Ron Paul has not dropped out nor should he! Media would love for us to believe he is out and Huckabee. Sorry, Mr. Government, you don’t have enough control over the media this year to pull this off!
People who know who Ron Paul is, really do agree with him. He really makes so much scence. A true to life honest polititian. They wonder how he can ever do all he wants to do, and if he can even make it against the others….So people figure “Might as well vote for one of the others”, rather than for A TRUE CHANGE. That’s the problem. Never give up what you really believe in. Weather Ron Paul wins the Presidential race or not, keeping him out there as long as possible CAN & Will make a difference. Why should we allow America to continue being so stupid.
Ron Paul can, and already is making a change in our lives. Fight for Amererica the way America should be. Fight for RON PAUL, as he has fought for us. Keep his name out there no matter what. All we can do still do really counts!
The only reason Paul is staying in the race is so that he can continue to fleece his few but “easily parted with their money” (aka fools) supporters. Word is that he then will convert the money to his Texas campaign and to other “interests” (new wing on his house, boat, trips).
Ron Paul isn’t racist because he doesn’t support Israel. In fact alot of Israel people want the USA out. And we shouldn’t gone there in the first place it was unconsitutional. Anyways Israel has enough nukes to destroy the middle east.
Did you hear this Shannon K.
Ron Paul Won’t drop out because hes in it for the message. He wouldn’t done better if the fox news AKA fraud news didn’t treat him so badly.
John Take a history lesson out of school
Read the consitution
ITS FOR A LIMITED GOVERNMENT
School brainwashes you into believing false things about the consitution.
Homeschoolers Know more about the consitution then people from public schools
