While I have an enormous amount of respect for Dobson, and certainly appreciate the sentiment…sitting out the election is, in my not-so-humble opinion, the WORST thing that conservatives can do. That’s EXACTLY what the progressives of the country would like for us to do – give up and shut up.

No, if we want our country back, we’re going to have to get out there and fight. Even if you have to campaign for Hillary, like Ann Coulter’s threatening to do. (Don’t you know Hillary just LOVES that prospect…not! lol) We have to make noise, become involved, fight at the state and local level, continue to fight the information war. If we give up, we’ve lost…and America will have lost. We can’t let that happen.

Jenn, sitting out the election isn’t giving up. For those who cannot vote for McCain but also cannot vote for Hillary or Obama, there simply is no other choice save possibly to vote for a third party candidate. I’m sure some will do just that. But we cannot reward our party for becoming virtually indistinguishable from the Democrat Party.

I may end up voting for Hillary. I think Coulter and Limbaugh have made some pretty good points in that regard. I have not yet decided on that. But voting for McCain in November is counter to fighting for our party.

If we end up with Hilary v. McAmnesty then the choice is clear. Instead of allowing our country be damaged by Juan it would be better to let Hilary take the reigns to ruin. I cannot in good concience vote for a RINO. The GOP would never recover.

I’ll only make the effort to vote if there is a local candidate worthy of my vote, but then if I cannot vote for Romney …
