Bush to Support McCain

The Washington Post is reporting that George W. Bush will support John McCain at CPAC:images

With the race to succeed him reaching a critical juncture, President Bush this morning plans to begin rallying the Republican base around its presumptive nominee, John McCain, and in the process define his own legacy for the general election campaign to come.

In a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, Bush intends to offer an implicit endorsement of McCain’s bona fides as a true conservative in the face of deep skepticism on the right. Although he does not plan to mention McCain by name, the president plans to say whoever ends up being the Republican nominee will represent conservative values.

    Oh, there’s a big eff’n surprise! McCain is the poster child for a Bush successor… Nothing like a big helping of more of the same to make you want to vomit.
