Marilyn Mackel Liberal Judicial Activist

A Superior Children’s Court Commissioner for California recently denied permission for a 17 year old young man to sign up for delayed enlistment in the Marine Corps. Read the story here. Her reasoning was not based on law, or on the request of the young man, or pleas by his foster parents to let him go. Her decision was based on the fact she does not support the Iraq War (a legally declared National Action) nor does she support the military.

She didn’t shatter the young man’s dream but her decision did cost the young man a $10,000 signing bonus. In order to meet the terms of the delayed enlistment program, the young man would have had to finish high school, stay in good physical shape and stay out of trouble. But this anti-war judge obviously feels she can push her agenda down people’s throats without regard for the law or any consideration of what is best for the children.

It should come as no surprise that Ms Mackel is a supporter of the ACLU and a Black Activist. She previously wrote an article in which she said in AIDS in Blackface:

We in the African American community lost thousands of young men and women to the fiasco of the Vietnam War; we annually loose thousands more to addictions, mental illness, and the multiple other malaises that can appropriately be called “post-traumatic slavery disorder.”

Its not that strange that the mainstream media also has turned a blind eye to this travesty and it seems this is not the first time this awful-cer of the court has done this. When asked about her decision she chose to hide behind the law saying she couldn’t comment on cases in her court room. She purports to be a judge in her writings but she is a Commissioner. It is also interesting that her resume lists her as contact person for the gay and lesbian law association.

Court Commissioners are elected officials who do take an oath of office to support and defend the laws of this Country; obviously Ms. Mackel doesn’t take that seriously. Perhaps someone should remove this activist judge now before some liberal tries appointing her to a real judicial bench!

    Since when does the law allow you insert personal beliefs into your judgments?

    Marilyn Mackel’s deep rooted bias has no place in the judiciary. She is the antithesis of balance, open-mindedness, objectivity, and individual human rights. She is a disgraceful person who uses her position to bully, intimidate and control. In the case of Ms. Mackel, it is evident that ignorance and prejudice lead to a blatant abuse of power.

    Is there someone in CA who will take up the case for the young man?

    Since her stated opinion in her decision was a personal belief not a matter of law, she should be subject to a law suit to recover damages, etc.

    Ever hear of the “Grodner Effect”? Here is a good place to apply the Grodner Effect:

    person, politican or company, particularly a lawyer or law firm who is corrupt and arrogant tries to create a position in which he or the company, party or entity for which they work or represent can repress or harm an individual or individuals simply by having connections in the legal system, political connections or personal wealth.     People like this pathetic sack of crap are exactly where the problems in this country lie. They believe their flawed ideology should trump freedom of choice.

    This woman deserves all the worst. I hope to hear of this woman in cuffs followed by a nice long stay… At Gitmo.
