Blogivists is a new blogging community, run by Eric Odom and Mike Van Winkle of the Sam Adams Foundation, and hosted by the Sam Adams Alliance.

I tried it this week, and am very impressed. It combines the best of individual and group blogging. From the “about” page:

Blog · iv · ist [blaw-guh-vist] n. One who isn’t satisified with merely writing something, one who does something. Blogivist.com is a community of bloggers dedicated to advancing the cause of free-markets and individual liberty. There are plenty of blogging platforms available to those who simply want to write. Blogivists.com is for those who want to advance a cause. This is the only site offering free personalized blogs to anyone who is motivated by the cause of liberty.

Anyone familiar with Wordpress will be albe to jump right in, and get started…there are lots of cool themes that are not available on the regular (free version) Wordpress blogs. But also, anyone who is new to blogging should be able to jump in here, as well, as the platform is very user-friendly, and Eric and Mike are great about helping.

Did I mention that all of this is FREE to the bloggers?

They’re just getting started, but what they have up and running so far is great. To get an idea of what individual bloggers can do, go to the home page, and browse the live feed.

Speak Your Mind

This comment section is for the readers of Ft. Hard Knox, a place for political conservatives to share information about online activism. We are not "fair and balanced," and we aren't refereeing a "free speech zone." Intelligent, funny, and on-topic comments are welcome. Trolls, spam, and liberal propaganda are not. We may occassionally approve a comment with an obvious lefty-slant so that we can amuse ourselves by making fun of it, but most will be deleted. (Why? Because we're busy, we have lives, and when we want to talk to you we'll go visit you on Digg or the Daily KOS.)

This is a private blog, and we reserve the right to make up our own rules as we go along. The few comments which manage to squeak by our censors reflect the opinion of the commentator, and not necessarily the staff of Ft. Hard Knox.
