Act Now Against the Global Poverty Act

Guess who is pushing this? Hussein Obama that’s who… it’s not enough that he wants to be Mr. Socialism in our Republic, he wants to give our money away to every screwed up thug nation in the world…(Pooh-Flinging NeoCons)

Does J. Wright Remember the Zebra Killings?

The more Wright speaks, the more he makes it all about himself, and his ego. His speaking tour puts everything in the present tense, quite possibly making it easier for Obama to distance himself from him…(Nuke Gingrich)

Days of Rage in Chicago - Dohrn & Ayers 1969 Weathermen

…This was not fun & games like Woodstock. It was scarey as hell. This is Barak Obama’s buddy Ayer’s group. His lovely wife Bernadine Dohrn was also a part of it. They were rich, white kids playing revolutionaries. Whether Barak was 8 or not back then, does not take away from the awfulness of what was involved and never repented…(Stix Blog)

Please Stop Calling It A Recession

Can we please stop calling this a recession?

I scream this at my monitor at least four or five times a day. Somehow, though hook or crook, the entire tech blogosphere seems to be fooled into thinking that we’re in the midst of the Great Depression, and it’s beginning to be a refrain that’s wearing thin. About four months ago, the trend amongst bloggers to refer to the ‘fact’ that we’re in the midst of a recession grew so tiresome for me that I started a new tag in my Google Reader entitled ‘bad economic theory,’ and it’s grown so thick with articles at this point that it’s almost impossible to get an accurate count…(Mark ‘Rizzn’ Hopkins, Mashable)

BAN BARBIE DOLLS !!!!! Top Iranian Prosecutor Says

The religion of peace strikes again. A top Iranian Prosecutor has urged the country’s VP to Ban Barbie Dolls from the Islamofacist nation. You see the doll corrupts little girls, especially since she does not dress moderately…(Yid with Lid)

Remember How Voters Wanted Change in 2006?

…Lets take a good look at how things were then with a Republican led Congress and how things are now with a Democrat led Congress…(Conservatism with Heart)

Blogger Protection Act of 2008

…[Blogs] are the Voice of the People. It’s important we protect that freedom. One way I’m doing this is by supporting H.R. 5699, the Blogger Protection Act of 2008, a bill which would protect Montana’s bloggers from the unnecessary intrusion of Washington, DC bureaucrats…(MT Politics)

Ohio Pro-Life Students Threatened With Missing Prom Over Abortion Shirts

High school students in a Toledo suburb were threatened with having to skip prom and other senior graduation events if they didn’t remove their pro-life T-shirts. A group of students had planned to draw attention to the destruction of human life in abortion until school officials got upset…(Life News)

UC Berkeley Holds ‘Islamophobia’ Event, Starring Radical Islamists

Hatem Bazian, the Islamist at UC Berkeley who infamously called for “an intifada in this country” (then lied about it to the media), is one of the stars of a new production at UC Berkeley’s Center for Race and Gender, opening tomorrow: Deconstructing Islamophobia…(LGF)

Obama’s Elitism Has Blue Dog Dems Howling

…Of course, we know what Dean really means (but won’t say) is that he wants those superdelegates to rally around Obama so they can push Hillary off the stage and avoid a complete catastrophe at their national convention in Denver. But that won’t be so easy, thanks to Obama’s repeated statements that people seek refuge in religion only after Washington has failed to meet their needs, or that they cling to their guns because government has let them down. Elitist beliefs like Obama’s are scaring away moderate Democrats in conservative congressional districts…(Dr. Bill, ARRA)

That’s What FriendFeeds are For

John McCain Geek’s up! (Blog P.I.)

Internet Censorship Coming to Russia

Communism is alive and well! (Josh Catone - ReadWriteWeb)

Sex Change Therapy Offered to Children

With the mass confusion caused by the “sexual discovery” movement a recent story revealed sex change therapy as an option to children as young as ten years old. When individuals perceive they are not designed uniquely as God has created them, they begin to believe change is necessary in who or what they are, or in this case, who or what their children are…(Craig Chamberlin…My Wise Generation)

May 11th is Mother′s Day - Support our Military Moms and eMOM

Mother′s Day is a real challenge for families who have loved ones serving abroad in the military. Whether you are a mom serving in the military, stationed abroad, or you’re deployed and your mom is back home missing you, it can be a really tough day…(Trish Forant)

Stop the “Bleeding Kansas” barbarism and infanticide in Wichita

Dr. George Tiller of Wichita, KS: Children who “slip out” accidentally during an abortion and are “born alive” or with a “heartbeat” … “If the baby is born alive, that is sloppy medicine.” (Article and video link, Kansas Meadowlark)

The Hypocricy of Google

Obama and Google’s Mutual Adviser: Jesus is gay, wears a diaper, and gets run over…(RedState)

No Season for Flip-Flops in Oklahoma

The opportunity to term limit statewide elected officials in Oklahoma for the first time since statehood is NOW! But we need your help to do so! The Oklahoma State Senate will cast the ultimate vote on Senate Bill 1987 in the coming weeks. The state House of Representatives approved the 12-year term limit bill on April 17 sending a clear message that they support letting the people decide this issue at the ballot box rather than politicians deciding it at the state Capitol. Oklahomans believe strongly that the “good ole boy” network of career politicians should become extinct…(Oklahomans for Responsible Government)

Some Sensible Gun Legislation

…It seems to me with more recent anti-self defense bills rising up in Baton Rouge, most notably HB 68 filed by Representative Cedric Richmond D-New Orleans (*of course he’s a Democrat), that these politicians who continue to file these bills are either stupid or just dangerous. Ignorant could no longer be a possibility since they’ve had to have heard each side of the argument a thousand times…(Louisianna Conservative)

State employees used as petition blockers?

Organizers of the recall effort claim staffers of Andy Dillon are stalking petition carriers, harassing them, and drowning them out with noise. Leon Drolet, of the Michigan Taxpayers Alliance, said they identified two petition “blockers” on March 17, 2008, as paid members of Dillon’s legislative staff. He said the group plans to file a federal civil rights lawsuit against each person involved and is offering a $250 bounty for anyone who can identify other “blockers.” (Ballotpedia)…Also see Warner Todd Huston of the Publius Forum, Mich. House Speaker Hires Felon to Oppose Citizen Petitioners

City pools are NOT necessities

The City of Toledo will spend about a half a million dollars this year to operate city pools. But that amount doesn’t include the capital improvement costs that are also budgeted in order to open the various pool locations…(Thurber’s Thoughts)

Eight year old seeks divorce [from her father] in Yemen

For the first time in Yemen 8-year-old girl asks for divorce in court: Nojoud Muhammed Nasser arrived at court by herself on Wednesday, April 2, looking for a judge to handle her case against her father, Muhammed Nasser, who forced her two months ago to marry Faez Ali Thamer, a man 22 years her senior. The child also asked for a divorce, accusing her husband of sexual and domestic abuse…(Fausta’s Blog)

    ...also watch for:

In the last WWF Survey, there were a number of Web 2.0 needs expressed, and we have been looking at options for meeting as many of those needs as possible. One of the suggestions submitted was to use already existing online programs, to avoid the expense and time of having to "reinvent the wheel" (Thanks, Dr. Bill!).

In that spirit, we are providing links to two great affordable resources online - One to help with basic computer skills, and one which is a wiki dedicated to Thriving Online, below. FHK is currently focusing specifically on developing social networking courses. Once we have accomplished that, if there is still a need for more focused training in the more technical areas, we may begin working on developing those courses, as we are able.

We are still looking for online resources for SEO and MMO which are affordable, practical, and preferably operated by right-minded individuals, so if you have suggestions, please let me know.

    Meanwhile, check these out:

Ed2Go: "The Earthnet Institute is a non-profit research institute. It partnered with Education To Go (Ed2Go), a Division of Thomson Learning, Inc. to offer highly interactive noncredit online continuing education courses that you can take entirely over the Internet. All courses include expert instructors, many of whom are published authors. Online courses are affordable, fast, convenient, and geared just for you. Explore the catalog, Click Now! [Many courses available for $89 each]

EightWeeks: This is an awesome wiki developed by Leslie Graves and the Lucy Burns Institute, to "help advocates of liberty and markets thrive online." There's an eight-week (hence the name!) "Thriving Online" course, plus a plethora of additional resources for online collaboration. There's a ton of information about wikis, and the program itself is a fantastic model for how a wiki can be used. It is funded by the Lucy Burns Institute, and is free to members. If you are interested, please send an e-mail to me (jennsierra@gmail.com), and I can get you more information, and send you invite.

Stay tuned for more information about courses we will be offering Conservative Networking Online!

Obama, the Narcissist at the Wailing Wall

...For a few days people have been sniping at the Jr. Senator from Illinois, saying that he thinks he is already president, they are wrong. Yesterday when he visited the Kotel (the "Wailing Wall" ) he proved that he thinks he is already GOD. He took the Holiest Place in the world to the Jews, and one of the holiest place to Christians and turned it into a crass campaign stop...(Yid with Lid)

Obama: America's Biggest Mistake Waiting to Be Made

An Interview With Kathleen Parker, Author Of "Save The Males"

John: Now, the average left-wing feminist response to your book is probably akin to, "Ah, men have the advantage in every way. Why would anyone need to 'save the males?'" What would you say to that? Kathleen: You're exactly right. I get a lot of that and what they point out generally is that men head most of the corporations and men dominate in the Congress. While that is statistically true, what I try to do in Save the Males is show where our current trends are leading...(Right Wing News)
