HBO Has Got To Go

In America, Christian Bashing remains as a popular politically correct pastime. The most recent example is Bill Maher’s false attack on the visiting Pope.

As correctly reported by FireBillMaher.com, Bill Maher slanderously attacked the pope and Catholics everywhere, and for that he MUST be fired! He lied when he called Pope Benedict XVI a “Nazi.” He lied about Pope Benedict coordinating a cover-up. They follow up with an on-line petition while missing the real problem. HBO has been providing [for a fee] unchristian broadcasting for over a decade and show no sign of letting up. They promote the killing of unborn American children, homosexual marriage [marriage is a holy sacrament in the christian faiths], and the destruction of the American way of life.

Even the heroic Michelle Malkin has jumped on the Catholic bashing bandwagon, but she does so for apparently good reasons even though it places her next to the likes of the revolting Bill Maher. Et tu. Michelle?!?! Undoubtedly, the answer is yes she has.

Catholics can be forgiven the sin of subscribing to the unchristian HBO services by confessing that sin in confession, another Catholic sacrament. Other christian religions offer no such option. Maybe if they pray really hard …

Do sign the petition, but do not forget that HBO is in the business of working to destroy your faith by offering hollywood porn for a price that all too many of you are way too happy to pay for. Stop supporting those who attack your faith today!

I can’t believe you call yourselves conservatives…you are reading into and taking out of context, the words used by Maher. He said the Pontiff “used to be a Nazi” which he was although not by choice.

Look at the context of what he said, it was in the context of a joke. The entire statement was “It’s leader also has a compound and this guy not only operates outside the bounds of the law, but he used to be a Nazi and he wears funny hats. That’s right! The Pope is coming to America this week and ladies, he’s single!”

My personal opinion is Maher isn’t funny and he is dangerously unhinged and he uses humor to insidiously tear down our system of government and beliefs. As for this author’s attack on other Christians I am not sure it is in the spirit of the Pope. But don’t worry as a believer I forgive the author for not believing in my beliefs. As for HBO I don’t watch tv, and as for Miss Malkin I hope she continues telling it like it is.

The last time I checked, the first amendment was still in effect in the U.S.. This type of anger is the same thing that we criticize liberals for - trying to shut-up anyone that disagrees with their point of view.

I can’t imagine lumping Malkin in with the crass Bill Maher…she’s simply pointing out the open-borders agenda of the catholic church - which, in fact, is something that is not good for the United States.

Bill Maher is not Funny. He was not joking as some leftwing nuts are saying. He was making a political statement. Which was evident when he refused to appologize. Bill Maher is an a–h-le.

I’m done with ABC & HBO and I dare them to go after the radical muslims like they have targeted Christians . the stats on pediphilia clearly show the problem in the Catholic religeon with it’s priests coinsides with the same disgusting stats in the general population and neither are acceptable . Bill Maher is anti-Christian and HBO and ABC apparently are on board with his bigotry. I know this because they will not go after a radical religeon like islam , who have killed , mamed and destroyed the lives of millions of young people in the mid-east . Where’s the outrage there ?? Ergo it’s all about the Christian believer . I’ll bet HBO and ABC love NAMBLA and it’s beliefs . Never heard a bad word about those sickos on HBO and ABC . No they go after one of the largest Christian communities in the world , SHAME , SHAME , SHAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maher should keep his disgusting words to himself. He’s not funny, just VERY biased. I will never have HBO again until he is fired.

1st ammendment rights need to be protected. Having said that, I abhor what Bill has said. But that is my opinion and just mine. I don’t have to watch, or listen to this man, and I won’t.

Ms. Malkin I hope you read this because I just want to say you are dead to me.
It’s one thing to disagree with the Pope on a non-doctrinal political issue(& for the record I do disagree with him on this issue)as long as you show him respect. It is another thing to disrespect him & to allow the comments box on your blog to become a vehicle for anti-Catholic Know-nothing hate propaganda. Until such time as you repudiate the trash spoken against the Holy Father in your commboxes & make it known it will not be tolerated no loyal Catholic should grant you the time of day.

My family and I are outraged at the recent comments about the Pope made by Bill Maher on his HBO show. We have cancelled HBO and will encourage as many friends and relatives to do the same. Maher is a first class scumbag and has to go. Until then, we and many of our friends will never subscibe or watch HBO. this includes ABC. We believe in free speech but his comments about the Pope and Catholics went overboard. This guy should move to another country like Cuba, Russia, China, N Korea etc. He obiviously has a dislike for our country. HBO, do everyone a favor and dump this idiot. Is there not one executive for HBO, ABC who is Catholic and was offended, then stand up for your faith.
