Doug has been a huge help in developing the WebWarriors of Ft. Hard Knox (WWF) project on Facebook, the wiki, and the eNewsletter. He designed one of our two current logos, and has been a regular link contributor. Doug also runs his own blog, and writes for the Grizzly Groundswell. FHK welcomes Doug as an FHK Collaborator. Following is the quote Doug has chosen for his website, which is also relevant to the WWF project, and FHK:

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves under the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag…. By Father Dennis Edward O’Brien, USMC

They like me, they really like me.

Seriously I am honored to join in this merry band of warriors for the conservative cause.

  3. Dear Stix:

Welcome to the freedom of the Fort! Colonel Neville.

Dear Jenn: I re-did the picture. I hope you get a laugh out of it. It’s from one of my favourite films, and naturally when re-made, it had be re-programmed, just like in the film, to fit todays phony paradigm. Curiously, Denzel is apparently a Republicann. Go figure.

Here’s something. I was watching a debunk of Moorelies ‘Bowling for Columbine’. There is a scene where you see from behind Mike Moore, and the only camera is filming Heston apparently walking away, er, apparently. Then you see Mike holding up a photo of a dead girl, filmed from Chucks angle but closer. Where was the camera? Nowhere.

The truth is, the whole set-up is a monstrous fake. The words were dubbed later as was Mikes front shot. PLUS, instead of the photo, Mike originally had a bag with a gun in it and Mike saying how he wants to present the same kind of gun as shot the girl to Chuck! I kid you not. But he reconsidered because he’s er, a “human being”…Mike presumably.

Consider Mike’s low voice tone to an aged, Alzheimer, hip operation recovering Heston and at that distance. He would not have heard. The key scene where Mike accuses Chuck of holding a gun rally after the girls death is an outrageous fraud. It was a ‘Get the vote out rally’ for Republicans. Chuck was unaware of Moore’s fraud being rather addled with illness. Thus you hear Chuck mention Cheney.

The NRA meet with the “cold dead hands” thing, was an annual General Meeting event required by state law, and the NRA cancelled all other connected events.

Well, so much is rotten in MSM land. The Left Liberal mind set often has no standards of morality or truth at all. ANYTHING is permissable for the er, cause.

Mike lies to Chuck by saying he’s a genuine NRA life time meber. Mike ONLY joined as part of the stunt and for his stated idea of getting anti-gun boobs to join then vote in er, Mike or whoever. Sadly for the Fat One, the board selects, not members.

The girls Mother was a drug user, married a dealer and the house of her drug dealer brother was a crack house, the gun a stolen fire-arm etc, ad nauseum.

Mike Moore is one of the most venal, hubristic, physically and character ugly liars, and manipulating parasites I have ever come across. He is, beyond belief. He is THe Picture of Dorian Grey in reverse.

    Colonel Neville.

  4. Dear Jenn:

PS. Thanks for posting the ‘It is the soldier…” thing. It’s a real favourite. All the best, Colonel Neville.

Doug has good taste in quotable quotes, that’s for sure.

We got your pic posted, Colonel…thanks! :-)

This comment section is for the readers of Ft. Hard Knox, a place for political conservatives to share information about online activism. We are not "fair and balanced," and we aren't refereeing a "free speech zone." Intelligent, funny, and on-topic comments are welcome. Trolls, spam, and liberal propaganda are not. We may occassionally approve a comment with an obvious lefty-slant so that we can amuse ourselves by making fun of it, but most will be deleted. (Why? Because we're busy, we have lives, and when we want to talk to you we'll go visit you on Digg or the Daily KOS.)

This is a private blog, and we reserve the right to make up our own rules as we go along. The few comments which manage to squeak by our censors reflect the opinion of the commentator, and not necessarily the staff of Ft. Hard Knox.

Hint: One sure-fire way to get your comment sent directly to the "spam" folder is to call us "racists" for disagreeing with a policy of the current POTUS or speaking out against terrorism.
