Time Warner’s WINAMP and Shoutcast TV: a Hotbed of Socialist Propaganda

To be fair they also show many cartoons and television shows I enjoy. I’ve been using the Winamp player for years, its easy to use and the small video window that will hover over your browser is great for watching South Park or American Dad while blogging.

Today, however, I noticed something that had previously gone unnoticed. Winamp’s ShoutCast TV is loaded with socialist/communist propaganda and nary a differing view in sight. It doesn’t exist. All commie, all the time. A full list of the programs are here, but they are hard to pick out unless you use the media library window in Winamp to sort by genre.

If you use Winamp, open up the media library screen, click on ShoutCast TV in the left hand sidebar. Then, sort by genre and scroll down and you will find six listings under ‘activism’ five of which are broadcast by Vunet and one listed as Soviet Union Live. Further down you’ll find one listed under China Socialism titled Ode to the Red Flag, two listed under Cuba Socialist Activism, and four listed under socialism (Baja, German, N. Korean and Venezuelan). I clicked the Venezuelan one out of curiosity and there sat Chavez calling our president “Mr. Danger” over and over again along with many other bad names. And surprise! It switched to a Barbara Walters ABC interview with the South American scumbag dictator named Hugo. It seems Vunet is the broadcaster for many, if not all, of these.

I looked and looked and not one differing political view existed. All commie, all the time.

A little more digging and wheeeh doggy, Time Warner (AOL) owns Winamp and ShoutCast and we all know the Ted Turnerish commie scum that runs that outfit. Didn’t he say we were going to be cannibalizing each other inside of 10-20 years?

I found it interesting that Time Warner (AOL) had such a fair amount of socialist commie broadcast in a media tool used by so many millions of young people. Indoctrination anyone?

I wonder if one of you conservative broadcasters out there would get air time? Is this something to be thrown in their smug faces the next time one of these asshats start whining that Rush Limbaugh is getting too much airtime? Equal, Fair? Yeah, and I’m tall and handsome.

The airwaves are government regulated, the Internet is not.

The fairness doctrine only applies to the airwaves.

    Thanks for playing.

John: Now, the average left-wing feminist response to your book is probably akin to, "Ah, men have the advantage in every way. Why would anyone need to 'save the males?'" What would you say to that? Kathleen: You're exactly right. I get a lot of that and what they point out generally is that men head most of the corporations and men dominate in the Congress.
