Paul Kanjorski (D-PA): Now, anyone who is a good student of government would know it wasn’t true [that Democrats would stop the war].

The problem, apparently, is that most Democrat voters in 2006 are not “good students of government,” because, as Democrat Pennsylvania Rep. Paul Kanjorski points out in this video:

We really in this last election — when I say “we,” the Democrats — I think pushed it as far as we can to the envelope. We didn’t say it, but we implied it, that if we won the congressional elections, we could stop the war.

Now, anybody who’s a good student of government would know it wasn’t true. But you know, the temptation to want to win back the Congress, we sort of stretched the facts.

…and yet, their lies worked, and the Democrats got control of Congress. Will Democratic voters do their homework before the 2008 elections? Doubtful.

  1. No they won’t do their homework. The new “progressive” student Democrats don’t give a hoot about doing their homework. It’s all about leftist ideology and lying is their primary virtue!
