This is the third and final installment of why America will lose no matter who is elected President.

Immigration. This is a term bandied about too often without real understanding of the problems. Immigration deals with both legal and illegal immigration.

John McCain’s policy proposal on border security and immigration reform is double-speak and typical political avoidance of the issue. McCain is all for strong border security but he is also for amnesty and increasing legal immigration quotas.

Barack Obama’s plan for immigration is to secure the borders, eliminate the need for people to cross illegally by making it easier for them to get into the USA, cracking down on employers, working with Mexico, and bringing the people out of the shadows.

Our immigration quotas are too high. If you haven’t yet, you need to watch Immigration Gumballs. The immigration issue impacts on the economy. A recent report by the Chicago Daily Herald stated that the Manhattan Institute reported that the Federal cost for its lack of enforcing our borders for FY2007 was $346 billion (USD).

In a previous FHK article Part III: Some Draft Immigration Reform Points I outlined some things I believe must be included in any reform of our immigration system. Any immigration reform must consider the future impact on America. Although America is rich in resources they must not be over-taxed by a population explosion.

Both of these candidates are woefully out of sync with the populace about immigration. Both favor amnesty and both seem to think Mexico will listen to reason. The money immigrants sent back to Mexico is the second largest source of income for Mexico. The Mexican government is not going to cut off that source of revenue. Both candidates seem to be biased for when illegal immigration is mentions they both automatically think Mexican. Illegal immigrants come from around the world not just Mexico.

The bottom line is once again we are forced to vote for the lesser of two evils. You have Barack Obama trained and mentored by Muslims and Communists or John McCain and the One World Order.
