Obama Treats AIPAC like a Prom Date

Barack H. Obama got in front of a tough crowd in AIPAC and told them exactly what they wanted to hear.  With tele-prompters fully powered he delivered the silky smooth words needed to win over the skeptical.  By many accounts it was a success, at least if you judge by the applause and standing ovations.

But as in the adolescent battle to win over a prom date, the words are insincere, reassuring and with any luck, effective.

"The danger from Iran is grave, it is real, and my goal will be to eliminate this threat,"

Well that sure sounds a lot different than when he stated that Iran was a small threat compared to the former Soviet Union.  Now in front of a pro-Israel group he has to change his language to suit the situation.  Sound like a familiar tactic guys?  I still am confused as to what "Change we Can believe In" means.

"I will do everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon – everything,"

To this he received a standing ovation, but why?  Its empty, meaningless and insincere coming from someone who most probably really means, I will give Iran everything I can, to include, aid in developing their nuclear program while disarming America under the watchful eye of the United Nations, which he is going to subjugate us to.  Mark my words.

"I will always stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself in the United Nations and around the world,"

He’s already gotten to third base and now I guess he went for the home-run with this one.  Notice the mention of the United Nations.  Mark my words, can you say Global Poverty Act?

A good way to gauge how Obama is going to deal with Israel and the butcher’s that call for it’s destruction is to simply note the recent actions of Jimmy Carter.  Then intensify them, that’s what we’ll see.  Mark my words.

I’d bet a new shotgun and hunting dog that somewhere in America tonight, there is a swooning AIPAC member with their guard down.  Are you ready for what’s coming next?  Do you know your just a prom date to Obama?
