I agree – Judge Cauthron’s ruling must be overturned. The main critics are folks that are profiting from hiring illegal workers. Illegal Immigration is an epidemic in our city and the rest of the nation. It sits at the core of all of our major issues today – failing healthcare system and economy, overcrowding in our schools, towns and roads (which has a significant negative impact on our environment), identity theft and national security just to name a few. We must get businesses to stop hiring illegal workers. Jobs serve as magnets. Get rid of the jobs and we start to rid ourselves of the problem. E-Verify will help us to start the process. For those companies that don’t want to deal with E-Verify – there are good companies out there that can help like LegalEmployer.com. All legal businesses need to carry their seal and consumers should not do business with anyone who does not proudly display the seal. Wake up America – we MUST stop the epidemic – stop hiring illegal workers and STOP supporting the companies that do.
