…from Joe, of Move America Forward:

From the Front Lines

History is about to be made – and you can be a part of it. This June 26th, an unprecedented collection of patriotic leaders will be brought together – united by their shared support for the heroic service of the men and women of the United States military who are fighting on the frontlines of the war on terror. These leaders will come together to support the largest shipment of care packages to U.S. troops in history. In addition many will join with with our troops in Iraq & Afghanistan for an 8-hour Web-A-Thon (“From the Front Lines” from 4:00pm – Midnight, Eastern), to collect sponsorships for the largest single shipment of care packages to U.S. troops — in history. Ever.

The goal is to send the largest single shipment of care packages to U.S. troops in history. The shipment is scheduled to go out days before the 4th of July, as a gift from the American people to our military men and women – to thank them for ensuring that our nation remains safe and free. The entire effort is being organized by Move America Forward – the nation’s largest grassroots pro-troop organization. Individuals can sponsor care packages via the MAF website.

Michelle and MelanieMichelle Malkin (super-blogger, author, TV analyst) & Melanie Morgan (Chairman of Move America Forward, author, radio talk show host) jointly conceived of this program and will co-host the 8-hour Web-A-Thon on June 26th (from 4:00pm – Midnight Eastern / 1:00pm – 9:00pm Pacific). Both have been to Iraq on the front lines of the war effort. The “From the Front Lines” program will be streamed live by UStream.TV – via this special “From the Front Lines” channel. [Video Below]

If you have a friend or loved one serving in Iraq or Afghanistan, send us their name and mailing address and we’ll make sure they get a care package! Send addresses of troops to receive care packages to: poohdo@aol.com

Also, if you know any troops serving in Iraq or Afghanistan who would like to record a short “shout out” to the American people via video – they can record a video and then send to us now in a .wmv, .mpg, .mov, etc… format – we’ll incorporate it into the lineup and include it in the “From the Front Lines” broadcast.

Videos from our troops can include a greeting to loved ones back home; talk about why cards/letters/care packages from Americans are appreciated; discuss daily life in their missions; what they miss most from home, etc… Send videos from troops to include in broadcasts to: danny@MoveAmericaForward.org

Just to be correct, Marcus Luttrell is not a Medal of Honor winner. He is a former Navy SEAL and author of “Lone Survivor,” about Medal of Honor winner Michael Murphy.
