Soros & Cronies Still At It

While reading about “La Raza,” I experienced a severe case of déjà vu. I was finding the same words “Reconquista: A Nativist Creation” over and over again in various blogs.
- Scholars and Rogues
- Xicano Power
- Xicano Power.ru (a mirror site in Russian, makes you go hmmm)
- Blogo Wogo
- Question Everything
- The Sanctuary
- Freedom’s Phoenix
- Pro Inmigrant
- URL Fan ( a site in Japanese)
- Dos Centavos
Most of these sites simply copied the posting at Scholars and Rogues, some with credit and some without. Some sites are decidedly socialist. The purveyor of the original post makes several statements and more than a few allegations.
This poison pen claims anyone who is anti-illegal immigration is race baiting and xenophobic and compares them to anti-communists during the cold war. Heaven forbid, we all know how wrong we are not to embrace communism. This obvious propagandist uses George Soros’ Media Matters for his references to “rebut” the reconquista reports by various political pundits such as G. Gordon Liddy, Dodd, Malkin and Limbaugh.
This person claims the term reconquer was only used in the Zimmerman telegram in 1917.
El Rocha states that,
Currently, nativist pundits associate ‘reconquista’ with El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán, the manifesto that is considered to be founding document of the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA). However, according to Jorge Tapia, MEChA has its founding based on a conference held in Santa Barbara, CA, El Plan de Santa Barbara, El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan and ideas from other student organizations. In fact, ‘El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán’ was not just instrumental in the founding of MEChA, but it also became the framework of the Chicano movement.
In reality, El Plan is a manifesto that appeals to nationalism as a way to achieve a self-awareness and self-esteem. El Plan never asked for the return of lost territories back to Mexico. So where did the idea of ‘Aztlán’ come from?
The following is a direct quote of action from El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan:
- Awareness and distribution of El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán. Presented at every meeting, demonstration, confrontation, courthouse, institution, administration, church, school, tree, building, car, and every place of human existence.
- September 16, on the birthdate of Mexican Independence, a national walk-out by all Chicanos of all colleges and schools to be sustained until the complete revision of the educational system: its policy makers, administration, its curriculum, and its personnel to meet the needs of our community.
- Self-Defense against the occupying forces of the oppressors at every school, every available man, woman, and child.
- Community nationalization and organization of all Chicanos: El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán.
- Economic program to drive the exploiter out of our community and a welding together of our people’s combined resources to control their own production through cooperative effort.
- Creation of an independent local, regional, and national political party.
- A nation autonomous and free – culturally, socially, economically, and politically- will make its own decisions on the usage of our lands, the taxation of our goods, the utilization of our bodies for war, the determination of justice (reward and punishment), and the profit of our sweat.
El Plan de Aztlán is the plan of liberation!
Well, El Rocha, to answer your question about where people get these insane ideas, the Chicano movement wants to reconquer (I find this humorous since in reality the Mexicans never owned or controlled, although the Spanish did, and the Native Americans did, and the Texicans did) any part of the United States of America. I direct you to the “Plan”. Brutal gringo invasion? Get real. The Mexican society and Government is far more brutal to their own citizens; the illegals come here because of that. The “bronze race” and its tenets sound suspiciously like the goals of the Aryan National; just swap colors.
The Santa Barbara Plan seems to have appeared only in the last few years on MEChA sites. That’s strange for something allegedly written in 1969 and for an organization that was founded in Texas in 1967. What happened to the original 155 page document? The National MEChA constitution was ratified in 1995. Gee, the time line seems a bit off.
Or perhaps the people you claim as racist are listening to your Chicano leaders’ Art Torres, California Democratic Party chairman, at the Latino Summit Response to Prop 187 at U.C. Riverside (Jan. 14, 1995):
Power is not given to you, you have to take it! People say to me when I was on the Senate floor, when I was in the Senate, why do you fight so hard for affirmative action programs. And I tell my white colleagues: because you’re gonna need them. Remember, 187 is the last gasp of white America.
Antonio Villaraigosa, former speaker of the California State Assembly and present Los Angeles City Council member-elect, discussing Prop 187 with a KABC-TV, Los Angeles reporter (July 29, 1999) and now Mayor of Los Angeles:
Well, the will of the people is something all of us have to respect, but when the will of the people is unconstitutional, the will of the people is null and void.
California must be bi-lingual.
Mario Obledo, former California secretary of health and welfare and co-founder of Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), interviewed on radio station KIEV, Los Angeles (June 17, 1998):
We’re going to take over all the political institutions of California. California is going to be a Hispanic state and anyone who doesn’t like it should leave. If they [Anglos] don’t like Mexicans, they ought to go back to Europe.
State Sen. Nell Soto, D-Ontario, June 25, 2003, San Bernardino Town Hall meeting to discuss SB60, the bill that would grant driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants, responding to critics who say the legislation promotes illegal immigration:
‘Guess what?’ Soto said. ‘The immigrants are already here. I welcome them. I hope they keep coming.’
California State Sen. John Vasconcellos, D-San Jose:
Since we stole it from them, why do you say it’s unfair to steal it back from us?
Or maybe these political pundits have been listening to Mexican Politicians: Plan Nacional de Desarrollo 2001-2006, Encourage a long-term international migration policy …, with other nations and international organizations, that defends the rights of Mexicans abroad and strengthens their sense of belonging [to Mexico, that is]. Play an active role in ensuring the labor rights of our countrymen [abroad], in the context of international competition.
Mexican Immigration Commissioner Juan Hernandez stated,
We have recognized that the Mexican population is 100 million in Mexico and the 23 million who live in the United States. … We are a united nation.
Or maybe the pundits are listening to what the Mexican People are telling them like in the June 2002 Zogby poll.
The poll found that 58 percent of Mexicans agree with the statement, “The territory of the United States’ southwest rightfully belongs to Mexico.” Zogby said 28 percent disagreed, while another 14 percent said they weren’t sure.
Meanwhile, a similar number – 57 percent – agreed that “Mexicans should have the right to enter the U.S. without U.S. permission,” while 35 percent disagreed and 7 percent were unsure.
You can lie, tell half truths and use your writing to try to dissuade the stupid into believing you are harmless, but words and actions of your Socialist Leaders tell the real truth.
Dear Readers, the sad part about this situation is that neither candidate for President gives a flying leap. Call your candidate and tell them to change their position on immigration, both legal and illegal, if they want your vote.
