Should the Haditha Marines Sue Murtha (Poll - Results)

Update: Thanks for your input, everyone…out of 162 respondents over the weekend, a whopping 97% percent answered “yes” to the poll question. The poll is now closed.

Last August, a lawyer for Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani promised NewsMax that if his client was exonerated, he would sue Rep. John Murtha for libel. WorldNetDaily is reporting now that the charges have been dropped without prejudice, that potential lawsuit is closer to becoming a reality. Since the prosecuters still have permission to continue trying to build a case against Chessani, Brian Rooney, the lead attorney for Chessani wants his client “completely out of the woods,” before they pursue action against Murtha.

We would like to know what you think. Should Chessani sue John Murtha, for accusing the Marines of killing “in cold blood.” As a reminder, the video of Murtha accusing the Marines is embedded below the poll.
