The grade school is 70% hispanic now. During the first march the students took down the US flag - put the mexican flag on top then the US flag upside down underneath. The town of 4500 that I grew up in is about 30 minutes from there. The grade school is 70% hispanic now. During the first march the students took down the US flag – put the mexican flag on top then the US flag upside down underneath. It is almost like entering another country when you visit the town.
