And the Lights Went Out…In the U.S.A

While the fight goes on on the floor of the House of Representatives over the right to discuss and vote on the will of the people over the objections of the self proclaimed preserver of Earth Nancy Pelosi, Obama continues to spread misinformation in Lansing Michigan at a stump speech. Guess which event the mainstream media is covering?

The mainstream media isn’t paying attention to Congressmen who are standing up for their constituents; instead they are following the empty suit Obama while he proselytizes his and Soros’ socialist beliefs.

Obama wants to tap into our strategic reserves and institute a “windfall” gas tax on “big” oil. Shipments to the strategic reserves have already been suspended until the end of 2008, but then if Obama bothered to show up to work he would know that. The reserves were established back in 1975 to prevent blackmail and extortion of this country by other countries in case of disruption of supplies. These reserves are so that America can remain open for business during a time of war and unrest, but Obama wants to weaken America, just like Pelosi. Obama in his inflammatory speeches accuses McCain of taking oil money but Obama has taken their money since he first started running while conveniently omitting this fact from his speeches. Neither candidate can legally take money from any corporation- only from individuals.

As for the “windfall” tax on big oil you only need look at the profit statements to find out that the profit has been in drilling and exploration, most of which is overseas and done for foreign governments since Nancy and friends do not want us to drill here. Only a little more than 2% of major oil’s profit is in gasoline and this figure hasn’t changed much over 20 years. “Big Oil” companies are shedding their company-owned gasoline stations because of lack of profit, yet Obama feels that whatever money that they have made should be taken away and redistributed to who ever votes for him. The oil companies are already paying billions in taxes but Obama and Pelosi want to break them so the government can move in and take them over like they are doing with banks.

The “Fed” is not a government institution, it is privately owned quasi-governmental bank to which America is mortgaging its future. When the “Fed” takes over a bank it is a form of nationalization but disguised as a “saving America” plan. The plan of the socialists is to destroy this nation from within. Destroy individual hopes and dreams, destroy the economy and then ride in for the rescue. They will then make the populace dependent up government for everything. A poor, disillusioned populace is easier to fool and control. They have the plans to register all your weapons disguised in the “Global Poverty Bill” (read it if you don’t believe me). This will make it easy to come get your weapons so you can’t resist.

What sickens me is that some people out there actually are buying the snake oil that Obama is selling. It is a lot like Pelosi’s promise for a more transparent government as she turns out the lights. It is like the Democrats’ promise for a longer Congressional work week or their promise for lower gas prices. And it’s like Pelosi’s promise for a more ethical government while her own son iss employed part-time by Countrywide Mortgage, the largest defaulter in the subprime market, and is also employed by InfoUSA, a company the NYT claims is heavily involved in making market lists used by con artists across the country to bilk senior citizens out of their savings (note: funny that he doesn’t even have to show up at the office to draw this paycheck).

Premier Pelosi also refuses to remove Rep William Jefferson (D-LA) from any committees, including the Homeland Security Sub-Committee even though in real life he doesn’t qualify for a security clearance, since his indictment. Democratic Committee Chairmen are being used to raise funds amongst lobbyists and corporations for the Party. Some great ethics!

Congressional personnel do not work for a party; they work for us, the voters. It is not their government, it belongs to the people. How dare she turn the lights on our employees? How dare she try to force her views down our throats? Since when did this country become her fiefdom?

Call all the Representatives, and the President! Call a special session, even if Nazi Nancy doesn’t allow a vote up or down it will show the voters her plan for America’s Future (failure).
