The fact is, they are scared to death. This caught them and all of us by surprise and they have already run off half cocked. They'll scale it back over the next few days as they realize what a mistake they've made but the damage with be done. Unless Palin screws up, and I really don't see that happening, she has smooth sailing for the most part. And I can't wait to see her debate Biden. I understand she's very good at it and Biden has a real habit of engaging his mouth before his brain is in gear. It's gonna be fun!
