Your right, McCains numbers continue to improve at the moment. But with two wars in progress, Russia flexing its muscles, questionable economic conditions and a steady flow of hurricanes pounding our shores, it seems awful lame to spend campaign money on an ad complaining about one sentence from a speech that may or may not have been misinterpreted. And there is plenty of that lipstick for BOTH candidates (and their running mates). I think the voters deserve a focus on the issues instead of some childish game of tattletale and tit-for-tat.

I guess you aren't paying much attention to the polls Tim. The fact is, McCain support continues to climb and Obama continues to falter. That flies in the face of your analysis. Whether the slam comes directly from the Obama campaign or from Obama's surrogates, they consistently pump up the McCain/Palin brand. Eventually Obama will figure that out. The question is, will he figure it out too late?

The point is McCain is a former POW and knows better than most people about sticks and stones breaking bones, yet he let Obama's words do him harm. 99 percent of the people were totally unaware of Obama's comment until he spent money on an ad that makes most undecided voters laugh WITH Obama. Worse yet, the Dems smell blood in the water and will no doubt hammer McCain for being a crybaby. It just seems that McCain went out of his way to show a weak underbelly instead of capitalizing on his military strength. Does he secretly want to loose this election?

I am extremely disappointed that McCain is able to keep the discussion at a jr. high level and avoid any discussion of the real issues. Worse yet, it appears that there are a lot of people praising McCain for keeping Obama off message, yet nobody seems to be discussing any type of message McCain has to offer other than "He called her a pig, waaaaa!!! " How many millions of dollars were spent on that commercial?

Dear Ron, I'm just surprised that the high hysteria of Left Liberalism hasn't come up with at least one "Fascist!" thrown at the fabulously authentic Sarah Palin. It usually happens within three seconds of disagreeing on anything and showing you stand for something with 'em.

Yes, the emptiness of Obama and his hordes of embarrassingly juvenile and seemingly guilt ridden fans is being startlingly revealed, eh?

Yep, it's a real crash and burn. What will the next month bring? Ah the truth that they have nothing to offer worth a damn. But then, overwhelming celebrity endorsement is not a guarantee of quality but always the exact opposite.

I'm with you on that James. And I can't help but provide running commentary on the process.

I, for one, am enjoying watching the Obama train crash and burn right in front of our eyes. And with each passing day Palin comes across as a strong, level-headed candidate with sound judgement.

Just sit back and watch... :)
