I have to admit that I just don't understand the bailout. Probably because I just can't comprehend how much $700 billion would buy. I don't know if the bailout was necessary or not. But, I know that small businesses were starting to get hurt because they couldn't get any credit. They say the bailout will help. All that is yet to be seen. If it going to help, I hope that it works quickly because it is getting really bad for people.

First gas price, then mortages, now jobs and a bailout. It seems like Congress doesn't have any idea how much people are suffering. I found this site that is collecting stories about how the economy is affecting us. They plan to put them together so they can relay a message to Congress. I sent in my story. Check it out. . .

I keep checking back because they are going to post the stories on the site. I really want to see what other people have to say. I hear stuff from my neighbors, but what about people in other parts of the country.

Congress get's to hear from the big busineeses about how much help they need. What about us? I could list ten people right now that could use a bailout. Instead they will do what Americans should do - pick themselves up by the bootstraps and find a way.
