The Times editorial board and writers are too far gone to understand anything now. They'll be patting each other on the back and talking about how brilliant they all are when the lights are begin shut off for the final time there.

As long as they have each other...

Dear Stephen Kruiser:

Hey, absolutely breezy and fantastic! It is amazing, one newsrooms self-immolation via a seeming slow parody of a student union 'crisis' meeting.
We have a very similiar spectacle here with 'The Melbourne Age' newspaper. Is it? Er, no.

While 'Al Age' has not fully started the mega slide to sales oblivion due largely to its advertising monopoly etc, I imagine it's just a matter of time. Or Time Magazine Syndrome to be exact. Another publication with free floating journalistic er, 'standards'.

All the best from Colonel Neville.

I ditto every word, coma, and period. I couldn't agree and laugh out loud more when you say that "everyone who works there is out of his or her freakin’ mind." Indeed the Times' decent from being one the nation's greatest newspapers to becoming "Air Amercia with ink," is clearly evidence by their vacant, near cultist endorsement of Obama. The lack of intellectual heft and journalistic style is proof positive why very few can stomach reading the paper beyond the upper West Side (and millions more find solace in websites such as yours). I mean, take that editorial and compare it with the writings of a wide-eyed freshman at their college newspaper and you could barely tell the difference. That's it in a nutshell: a bunch of kids who have never grown up have taken over The New York Times and have effectively destroyed it.
