The Death Of Affirmative Action

As President Elect Berry Obama makes his choices for key cabinet positions one thing is clear. Affirmative Action will have no place in his decision making.

In the Financial Times.Com article, “Obama focuses on results in cabinet selection” it is reported how his appointment of Clintonites is about as un-Clintonite as can be. Instead, they report that, “The fact that Mr Obama is African-American liberates him from having to build a diverse cabinet that “looks like America” – a pre-occupation of Mr Clinton’s transition period.”

Perhaps he will select Susan E. Rice to be his national security adviser, but the Washington Post see her as being third in this race. It could be that BHO believes she hasn’t the experience needed during this time of predicted immediate national security problems.

Throughout the election of BHO race was one of the main factors in his being elected, but the current message from the president elect is clear. Affirmative Action for thee, but not for me.

This comment section is for the readers of Ft. Hard Knox, a place for political conservatives to share information about online activism. We are not "fair and balanced," and we aren't refereeing a "free speech zone." Intelligent, funny, and on-topic comments are welcome. Trolls, spam, and liberal propaganda are not. We may occassionally approve a comment with an obvious lefty-slant so that we can amuse ourselves by making fun of it, but most will be deleted. (Why? Because we're busy, we have lives, and when we want to talk to you we'll go visit you on Digg or the Daily KOS.)

Hint: One sure-fire way to get your comment sent directly to the "spam" folder is to call us "racists" for disagreeing with a policy of the current POTUS or speaking out against terrorism.
