Impotent Netroots Getting Obamasized

Over at Real Clear Politics they are advertising a really good article from the New York Daily News. It reports on the outrage felt by the leadership of many liberal blogs, amongst which is Daily Kos founder, Markos Moulitsas.

They are extremely mad that The One, as well as at the Democrat-led Congress, is not working to end the war in Iraq, and because they did not strip Joe Lieberman of his chairmanships.

In the 2006 election cycle, the Huffington Post featured a picture of Joe in blackface, then later warned us all not to call them racist. We are also not supposed to question their patriotism.

James Kirchick makes several good points in his article. He points out how the netroots “don’t matter” to their new Messiah, how the democrat netroots are all about hate, and that only 22% of the American public consider themselves to be liberal while 34% claim the conservative mantle, something the “progressives” don’t seem to understand.

Now that the extremist netroots finally understand change. I wonder if they have any hope left.

Yesterday I visited several liberal blogs and had to laugh about this topic.

* – The Cintonites have usurpted the liberal mandate and control Obama!
* – Blagojevich and Jefferson are corrupt because they are right-wing Democrats and not true Democrats!

* – Blagojevich and Jefferson are corrupt because they are right-wing Democrats and not true Democrats!

They have every right to be upset as they were used and have now been left at the voting booth to wait for another two years until they are called upon again. We should be happy that nothing has looked too bad so far. However, I feel we will see much worse when Mr. Obama actually takes the oath of office.
