This comment section is for the readers of Ft. Hard Knox, a place for political conservatives to share information about online activism. We are not "fair and balanced," and we aren't refereeing a "free speech zone." Intelligent, funny, and on-topic comments are welcome. Trolls, spam, and liberal propaganda are not. We may occassionally approve a comment with an obvious lefty-slant so that we can amuse ourselves by making fun of it, but most will be deleted. (Why? Because we're busy, we have lives, and when we want to talk to you we'll go visit you on Digg or the Daily KOS.)
This is a private blog, and we reserve the right to make up our own rules as we go along. The few comments which manage to squeak by our censors reflect the opinion of the commentator, and not necessarily the staff of Ft. Hard Knox.
Hint: One sure-fire way to get your comment sent directly to the "spam" folder is to call us "racists" for disagreeing with a policy of the current POTUS or speaking out against terrorism.
Your photo will display with your comment if you use gravatars.

The followup as to what happens to the knucklehead after the fact is what I’m interested in. He’ll probably do a few days in an Iraqi jail and return to wherever he came form to a hero’s welcome. Hopefully our guys broke a few of his bones first….
Incredibly, the leftist loons in our own country are sympathetic toward this “reporter,” and his stated cause (Iraqi “widows and orphans”), especially in the aftermath of Bush refusing to immediately apologize to the reporter for …whatever, and refusing to take the whole shoe-thing seriously.
As I explained to one of them yesterday, the Iraqi reporter has a point. In the previous administration in Iraq, there probably wasn’t much of a “widow and orphan” problem, seeing as Saddam had a tendency to simply kill the entire family of anyone who offended him. Any widows and orphans that might have survived were fair game in that society for rape and plunder.
It’s only in civilized societies that there is a concern for civilians, including widows and orphans.
Every time I hear leftist loon talk about our American soldiers killing Iraqi’s, I am reminded of the news coverage a few days after we got control of Baghdad showing lines and lines and lines of unarmed Iraqi soldiers – miles long – walking back home, smiling and waving at the cameras, past our troops who not only gave them safe passage but in some cases protected them from their own people who were still armed.
