WebWarrior: Taking Back America

I had an opportunity to speak with Aleks this week, from Taking Back America’s Podcast, and the Taking Back America Blog. Aleks started his project on January 1, 2009 (just a little over four months ago), and has successfully used social networking techniques to promote his blog. Aleks says he currently has around 100,000 subscribers to his podcast on which he has featured Tom Tancredo and the AFP’s Phil Kerpen, and that he’s still growing. He is doing this by networking with other bloggers and activists, and growing as he helps promote their projects.

Aleks describes himself as:

“…[A]n Ayn Rand conservative, a self proclaimed Reagan Rebel and an aspiring politician/radio show host. I am deeply passionate about the nation that has given my family and I everything we have today. In no other nation can we amass so much in such a short period of time, although we are always under attack, the select few keep a vigilant eye on us and protect us even when we do not know it. Those select few are our bravest and most valuable resource, our military. Our men and women in uniform prove time and time again that courage and patriotism is not something you wake up with, it’s something that is instilled in you and can never be shattered. To those brave ones that sacrifice their lives so that we can enjoy ours I say thank you from the deepest depths of my heart.”

Speak Your Mind

This comment section is for the readers of Ft. Hard Knox, a place for political conservatives to share information about online activism. We are not "fair and balanced," and we aren't refereeing a "free speech zone." Intelligent, funny, and on-topic comments are welcome. Trolls, spam, and liberal propaganda are not. We may occassionally approve a comment with an obvious lefty-slant so that we can amuse ourselves by making fun of it, but most will be deleted. (Why? Because we're busy, we have lives, and when we want to talk to you we'll go visit you on Digg or the Daily KOS.)

This is a private blog, and we reserve the right to make up our own rules as we go along. The few comments which manage to squeak by our censors reflect the opinion of the commentator, and not necessarily the staff of Ft. Hard Knox.

Hint: One sure-fire way to get your comment sent directly to the "spam" folder is to call us "racists" for disagreeing with a policy of the current POTUS or speaking out against terrorism.

Your photo will display with your comment if you use gravatars.
