Since Obama had only been in office 6 months at the time of this letter, I doubt he was busy reading through flyover requests at the Pentagon. (At least I hope he had better things to do) We should be more appalled that this country is in the worst recession that its ever seen, thanks to an administration that took us from surplus to massive debt and let businesses run amok without government controls. Personally, I am appalled that most military families (especially reservists) who are not on active-duty status cannot afford health care. I am also enraged that thousands of good, hard-working Americans in MIssissippi lined up for a community health fair because they couldn't afford to go to the doctor. Or maybe that my family nearly went broke outfitting my husband for his last two deployments because, under the watchful eye of the last administration, adequate and essential gear was not provided for him by the Army. I am proud of my husband every day for being a great husband, father, warrior and protector of this country. We don't need a military flyover demanded by a group of loud-mouthed, agenda-pushing, holier-than-thou, haters to thank him or make him feel worthwhile and honored. But that's just my opinion.
