Chaplain Violates Obama’s ‘Hate Crimes’ Law by Quoting Bible?

October 28, 2009 by Chaplain Klingenschmitt
Filed under News and Opinion

Today President Barack Obama signs the “Hate Crimes” Amendment contained within the 2010 National Defense Authorization Act, which adds “sexual orientation” to the list of federally protected classes. This new law provides for federal prosecution and enhanced penalties to violent criminals (and their so-called co- conspirators) whose “motive” or otherwise invisible heart-intention is somehow proven in a court of law as intended to incite or commit an act of violence against a person “because of” their sexual orientation.

Conservatives call this bill the “Pedophile Protection Act” because it may now offer federally protected status to 547 classes of sexual deviants, including child molesters, who are now more protected than heterosexuals, violating the principle of equal protection. It further endangers free speech by pastors who quote illegal Bible verses from the pulpit, including Romans 1:32 or Leviticus 20:13, (which I’m about to quote below), which by merely quoting pastors may be accused of “conspiring” to commit violent crimes, should anyone in the church hear their speech and later commit such violent acts against homosexuals.

My organization, The Pray In Jesus Name Project, has collected and delivered approximately 400,000 petition faxes to the U.S. Congress against this new law, which the Senate could not pass as a stand-alone bill, so Democrats hijacked the Pentagon budget to enact the homosexual agenda. In response to our petitions, the Senate adopted the good “Brownback Amendment” (R-KS) to the hate crimes bill, by 78-13 vote to add special protection for pastors to ensure the bill does not “substantially burden any exercise of religion…speech, expression, association, if such exercise of religion, speech, expression, or association was not INTENDED to:

  1. plan or prepare for an act of physical violence; or
  2. incite an imminent act of physical violence against another.”

But Senator Leahy (D-VT) added a bad side-by-side amendment diminishing some First Amendment protections for pastors, by including this new statement: “The Constitution does not protect speech, conduct or activities consisting of planning for, conspiring to commit, or committing an act of violence.”

In other words,

  • A) pastors may quote the Bible publicly if their “intention” is the free exercise of religion or speech, but
  • B) pastors may not quote the Bible publicly if their “intention” is to conspire with listeners to commit an act of violence.

This begs the question, if the pastor never announces whether the unspoken “intention” of his heart is A or B, how can any prosecutor, judge, or jury know whether the pastor’s secret thoughts intended A) free exercise or B) conspiracy? Without revealing the secret intention of my own heart, whether A or B, I hereby publicly quote both Romans 1:32 and Leviticus 20:13:

Romans 1:32 — “Men with men working that which is unseemly…who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death.”

Leviticus 20:13 — “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

I further invite President Barack Obama, as the chief law enforcement official of America, to discern the secret thoughts and intentions of my heart, and to prosecute me for conspiracy or inciting the violent crimes of others who might read my words and act upon them, if he dares to think he knows or can prove my motives were not pursuant to the free exercise of religion or speech.

Debunking William Rodriguez

October 28, 2009 by Victor Chabala

“Truthers” often use the accounts given by William Rodriguez to “prove” their assertions that the WTC was brought down by controlled demolition. However, the problem with that, as we see here, is that William Rodriguez has changed his story more times than most people change their underwear.

This quote from here  “Truth” Movements position:  “William Rodriguez says he heard an explosion at the WTC “just seconds before” the plane hit.

Declared a hero for saving numerous lives at Ground Zero, he was the janitor on duty the morning of 9/11 that heard and felt explosions rock the basement sub-levels of the north tower just seconds before the jetliner struck the top floors.

He not only claims he felt explosions coming from below the first sub-level while working in the basement, he says the walls were cracking around him and he pulled a man to safety by the name of Felipe David, who was severely burned from the basement explosions.”

9/11myths.com  poses some excellent questions:  1) Why plant a bomb 90 floors below the impact point and have it go off at the impact point?  (And how would they account for the possibility of the plane departing later than scheduled?), 2) Why increase the risk of detection, as planting a bomb there would do?

The 9/11 “Truth” Movement might make the statement that it would weaken the structure, but as 9/11myths.com  points out, as the planes hit approximately 90 floors ABOVE the basement, meaning a bomb in the basement would have no effect, and furthermore, the base of the WTC was still intact.

This quote from here  gives Rodriguez’s 1st account: “William Rodriguez worked on the basement level of the north tower and was in the building when the first plane struck his building.

“We heard a loud rumble, then all of a sudden we heard another rumble like someone moving a whole lot of furniture,” Rodriguez said. “And then the elevator opened and a man came into our office and all of his skin was off.”

Hmm, last time I checked, explosives did NOT make rumbling sounds-  they make a short, sharp BOOM.  Notice that he also mentions a man came out of the elevator with his skin all his skin off.  This implies a FIRE, not a bomb.  Bombs do NOT set people on fire;  they blow people to bits.  In addition, as we see near the bottom of the page here, a fireball took out a bank of elevators ( which means we don’t know where the elevator originally was before Rodriguez saw the man with his skin burned off exit the elevator in the basement. It seems to me that if the elevator was up high enough when the fireball took it out, then it may have been a bit loud when it hit the basement.

Check out all the yellow boxes here  and you will see how Rodriguez contradicts himself, especially when he claims the media, specifically CNN, edited his interview.  The problem is it was a LIVE interview, meaning it CAN’T BE EDITED!!! 9/11myths.com further points out that Rodriguez fails to mention the 14 other witnesses he claims saw evidence of controlled demolition and in his RICO suit against the Bush Administration, leaves out the explosion he says preceded the impact?  Hmm, that’s just a tad suspicious.

911myths.com  also raises another excellent point:  Just how can Rodriguez hear explosions at the uppermost floors when he’s in the basement?

As we see here, the 9/11 ‘Truth” Movement  claims there was only one elevator that serviced all floors.  Once again, the 9/11 “Truth” Movement is being less than truthful, to put it mildly.

First of all, car 6 ran a good portion of the full length of the building. Second, the elevator shaft is not the only route for the jet fuel to flow. Third, the WTC used what is referred to as a “stacked” system, meaning that while most of the elevators only went to a portion of the floor, the elevator shaft itself ran the ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE BUILDING.  In short, you had multiple elevators using the same shaft ( reference )

Simply put, despite their names,  you can trust Michael Vick to watch your dog before you can trust the 9/11 “Truth” Movement, the “Scholars” for 9/11Truth, AE911Truth, etc  to tell anything even remotely resembling the truth.

Post-Trauma Resources (PTSD, C-PTSD, PTSS)

Filed under FHK WebWarriors, News and Opinion

In the process of providing resources for online activists over the last couple of years, we have discovered many things about online activists. One discovery we’ve made is that folks who are dealing with post-trauma issues (either from incidences occurring during military service or from personal trauma, or from a combination) often find that they are able to be productive and excel in the online environment, and often enjoy online activism as a way to retain their privacy while also sharing the wisdom and knowledge gained from their life experiences.

So, we are beginning a list of free online resources here, specifically for victims and their loved ones who are seeking information for coping with and recovery from PTSD, C-PTSD, PTSS, and other post-trauma issues (either professionally or self-diagnosed). This is meant to be just the beginning of a developing resource, so if you have additional links that you would like to share, either add them to the comment section so we can add them to the post, or send them to me, confidentially, at jennsierra@gmail.com.

McCain Still Fighting for Vets – to Become Teachers

Michael Riley of the Denver Post is following a story on two U.S. Senators who would like to pass legislation that would pave the way for more military personnel to put their skills to use in the Nation’s classrooms:

Sens. John McCain and Michael Bennet want to put more battlefield veterans in classrooms as teachers, teaming up as a seasoned senator with military expertise and a freshman lawmaker who was superintendent of Denver Public Schools.

But in co-sponsoring a bipartisan bill known as Troops to Teachers, McCain, R-Ariz., is also handing Bennet, D-Colo., a potential campaign plum, an unusual move given McCain’s role recruiting GOP front- runner Jane Norton to race against the vulnerable Democratic appointee.

[...]

Although it provides financial assistance for veterans to train as teachers, the existing program has tougher qualification requirements and limits the number of schools that can participate.

The senators’ bill would increase the authorized funding from $30 million a year to $50 million. Another 1,150 schools would be eligible to participate just in Colorado, many of them in poor and underserved areas. It also would reduce from six to four the number of years of noncombat active duty someone must serve to be eligible…Continue reading McCain, Bennet on front line to turn vets into teachers >>
