So, now that Randy Brogdon’s running for Gov., who’s running for his seat?

TimCoagerI had a chance to speak this afternoon with Tim Coager, a Republican who is running for the Oklahoma State Senate seat being vacated by Randy Brogdon, also a Republican, who is running for Oklahoma Governor. Brogdon’s shoes will be hard to fill, but this 14 year Marine Veteran feels he’s up to the job. Coager is currently a refining engineer, and according to his website is a “strong social and fiscal conservative.” More from his website:

Tim has been active in church and community affairs for many years and has demonstrated his commitment to public service through his extensive civic involvement.

Tim’s conservative values are rooted in his Christian faith, the values he was taught in the U.S. Marine Corps, and his love for family and country. Tim believes in personal responsibility and hard work. He is uncompromisingly pro-life and is a passionate defender of our second amendment right to keep and bear arms. He is strongly committed to reducing the size of government by returning tenth amendment rights to the states. Tim believes our personal liberty and freedoms are conferred by God and not by the government.

To find out more check him out here, or on Twitter (@TimCoager) and Facebook.

  1. Coager isn’t the only candidate, apparently. I’ve been hearing about Rick Brinkley a lot lately.

Thanks, MP. Should be an interesting race.

I know and work with Tim. He is the real conservative deal. I am impressed with his work ethic in the business environment as well as in the political environment. This country needs more people like Tim, especially in politics. He certainly has my vote.

  2. Donna Thornhill says:

I have had the privilege of knowing Tim (through the Owasso-Collinsville Republican Assembly) now for just a short while. In that time, I know him to be a man of integrity and strong conservative values. I believe Tim will be a very good and effective Senator for Oklahoma.

    Sincerely,

    Donna Thornhill

  3. Lisa Calvert says:

I know Tim stands for moral values that our country seems to be lacking from. I believe Tim can bring hope back into our country with his strong work ethics and his perserverence to get the job(s) done and done right. I have no doubt that Tim Coager will be a great Senator for Oklahoma.

  4. Ken B. says:

I have had the privilege to work with Tim and get to know him over the last fourteen years. Tim is a solid conservative, driven and committed to doing what’s best for our country. As a veteran he knows what cheerful service and hard work it takes to make America great. When Tim is elected, I expect great things from him; he will represent the district and state well. Go Tim!

  5. Clay B says:

I have known Tim for more than 10 years. His knowledge of our govt and his desire to help is highly respected. Also I think very highly of his service to his country(14 yrs in the Marines)and his desire to continue to give.

  6. Bart H says:

I also have had the privilege to work with Tim and get to know him over the last fourteen years. He is always ready not only to do the right thing but dedicate himself to seeing that it is done the right way and to completion. Being the conservative he is and knowing him, I have no reservations about him putting our interests (as a people and a nation)in the forefront of his endeavors. I have been impressed with his ability to meet adversity head on with a calmness and assuredness that facilitates resolution and respect. No matter what the venue and type battle, Tim is a man that I know is a true leader. Count on me Tim !! Go Get Em’!!
