The goal of the FHK* project is to assist politically-conservative bloggers, social-networkers, and citizen journalists to navigate the wild, wild world of Web 2.0 more effectively.
To accomplish this goal more efficiently and effectively, we have made some changes. The project has three components, a place for conservatives to write and publish, a place for collaboration and discussion, and a means to reference news and information important to conservatives online on an as-needed basis. We have changed from a blog/discussion-forum/wiki format to the following:
The FHK Blog
The Ft. Hard Knox blog is a place for FHK authors to post and promote information and political Op-Ed articles of interest to conservative political activists, including current events, and information about Web 2.0 technology. Stories from the main blog section may be promoted in social news sites such as Digg, Reddit, and Del.icio.us.
Wordpress’ excellent search features also allow members to research, search, and sort information using a variety of methods, so that they can get information on current political issues as well as current technology updates on an as-needed basis.
The FHK Facebook Groups
The FHK Facebook Group is a place for FHK members to collaborate, strategize, and share resources. Members may post tips, tricks and information about blogging, social news and networking, current events, legal and security issues on the web, search engines, codes, feeds, or any other topic of interest to political conservatives online. Members must adhere to Facebook Terms of Use, as well as (the FHK Discussion Forum Rules.)
NEW (02/12/08)! FHK is teaming up with Web Warriors all over the blogosphere to take political activism online to a whole new level. This is group is for those seriously interested in using Web 2.0 to further the conservative movement online: Web Warriors of Ft. Hard Knox (WWF)
FHK Collaborators
4/20/08: Effective immediately, the minimum requirements to be an “FHK Collaborator” are active participation in either the blog, the WWF project (wiki, eNewletter), or project research on a regular basis. Posts and occassional participation by FHK members will continue to be welcomed.
