The Problem with Liberals (Updated with Video)

The problem with liberals isn’t that they’re liberals, it’s that they react on emotion rather than logic. This is the only thing that explains why they blame every ill in the world on our President, and every item they disagree with on conservatives. They label all people they construe as evil a “Neo con”, even though that label only applies to liberals that have turned conservative. They don’t know any better, and aren’t interested in learning any better.

Our country is under attack. Some see it. Some don’t, and wont until it’s too late. Imagine all the people, living for today. It’s a liberal theme song. John Lennon wrote it and it’s a very catchy tune. Imagine no religion. Okay. I’m imagining. I don’t particularly care for religion. Although I believe in the trinity without question. Now, lets look at this with logic. Christians cannot prove that God exists. Last time I looked, we weren’t trying to. Atheists can’t prove that God DOESN’T exist, although they wish they could. Most liberals are atheist. I say that with no proof whatsoever and I stand behind what I say simply from experience. When a post is put out on a location such as DIGG, and a person makes a pro-Creator comment, it is attacked vehemently. Why?

If God does not exist, and the liberals are right, what has it cost the Christian that believed in God all of his or her life? Nothing. It has given hope for a future. It has given guidelines to help your fellow man and do what is right in a wrong circumstance. It has advised that we should help those less fortunate than ourselves. It has advised that we should treat people as we WISH to be treated. Read more

We need to show more sympathy for these people.

We need to show more sympathy for these people.

  • They travel miles in the heat.
  • They risk their lives crossing a border.
  • They don’t get paid enough wages.
  • They do jobs that others won’t do or are afraid to do.
  • They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language.
  • They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day every day.

I’m not talking about illegal immigrants; I’m talking about our troops! Doesn’t it seem strange that many Democrats and Republicans are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don’t support our troops and are now threatening to defund them?

Defensive Conservatives

Why is it, that conservatives are so defensive? Don’t get me wrong. There’s nothing wrong about defending your position. My point is, why aren’t conservatives more offensive? When liberals try to get same sex marriage acts pushed through, we rise to the occasion. The problem is, they’re just going to try again when we let our guard down. Why aren’t our political activists pushing to get a marriage definition pushed through that defines marriage in no uncertain terms as a bond between one man and one woman?

When our politicians try to force amnesty bills giving people that have entered our country illegally the same rights as immigrants that have followed the legal processes, we get very defensive. Why isn’t American English the official language of these United States? Why aren’t our activists getting offensive on this issue? Read more

This is a story of every child, but I will base it on my son. Let me start with my wife and I. My wife was told at the age of fifteen that she could never have children. I was good with that because I didn’t want any. It’s not that I hated kids. It’s just that I wanted them to go home with their parents at the end of the evening. One afternoon, after a series of illnesses in the morning, my wife went to the doctor. She found that she was pregnant. I was mad as hell. I kept thinking “You’re not supposed to be able to have kids!”. For nine months, I was a complete ass. When the nurses handed me my son in the delivery room in August of 1988, my mind and my life changed. Read more

Liberals Hate America

The title of this article is not an opinion. It’s a fact that can be easily proven. It is unfathomable that people will claim to support our military “but not the war”. The only conclusion I can come to, is that they have no concept of the cost of freedom. When I hear our “celebrities” spewing the hate for our president and our country on foreign soil, it makes me sick. No, it makes me angry. These people whose job is, is to pretend they’re someone and something they’re not, are worshiped by liberals everywhere. They bad mouth our military. They call them names like baby killer, and murderer. A sign at the Code Pinko rally outside our Marine recruiting station read:

The few, The proud, The insane.

I am an American, a Christian, a Husband, a Father, and a Conservative. I believe in God, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, Family, Friends, and doing the right thing in all circumstances. I believe in the sanctity of human life. I believe abortion is murder, not a choice. The choice was made when you chose to have sex. A baby was a known possible consequence before you made your choice.

My favorite quote:

Everything works out okay in the end. If it’s not okay yet, it’s not the end.

Our country is not a political institution. It is a country borne of free men and women which were willing to fight for freedom. The problem with our country today is political. Our “representatives” only represent themselves. This has gone on for so long that a large group of our fellow countrymen feel powerless to stop it. My own neighbor refuses to vote because he feels it is a moot point. We’re just going to get another politician. In a way, he’s right. The people in political power today have more money, more resources, more backing, than any regular joe could ever hope to overcome. Read more

A Different Kind of Drug Problem

cagh-88.jpgThe other day, someone at a store in our town read that a met amphetamine lab had been found in an old farm house in the adjoining county and he asked me a rhetorical question, ”Why didn’t we have a drug problem when you and I were growing up?”

I replied: ”But I did have a drug problem when I wuz a kid growing up on the farm.” I had a drug problem when I was young: I was drug to church on Sunday morning. I was drug to church for
weddings and funerals. I was drug to family reunions and community socials no matter the weather.

I was drug by my ears when I was disrespectful to adults. I was also drug to the woodshed when I disobeyed my parents, told a lie, brought home a bad report card, did not speak with respect, spoke ill of the teacher or the preacher. Or if I didn’t put forth my best effort in everything that was asked of me. I was drug to the kitchen sink to have my mouth washed out with soap if I uttered a profane four letter word. I was drug out to pull weeds in mom’s garden and flower beds and cockleburs
out of dad’s fields.

I was drug to the homes of family, friends, and neighbors to help out some poor soul who had no one to mow the yard, repair the clothesline or chop some fire wood. And if my mother had ever known that I took a single dime as a tip for this kindness, she would have drug me back to the wood shed.

Those drugs are still in my veins; and they affect my behavior in everything I do, say, and think. They are stronger than cocaine, crack, or heroin, and if today’s children had this kind of drug problem, America might be a better place today.

Same-Sex Unions vs. “Marriage”

June 5, 2007 by Alex

The reason the term “marriage” can never be used to legitimately describe same-sex unions, is that the origin of the institution is religious. Marriage is an institution begun by the Living God, Jehovah, whom Christians know as the Trinity. As partial proof I ask; what man in his right mind, would ever limit himself to one wife when he could have many? This would have to be done by a man in power, considering that it would have to be enforced on others for it to flourish. Since we know that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely (without God, that is) – (see the life of King David) what absolute ruler was responsible for this seemingly universal marriage law.

No it seems that all evidence points to a divine origin for the institution of marriage. Having established that God is the creator and definor of marriage, it is up to Him to change it, if it is to be changed at all. So far, He has not done this, nor has He given any evidence of this in His word, the New and Old Testaments of the Bible.

Does gay “marriage” affect hetero marriage? Not those already in existence. However, those young persons growing up in such a society, would learn to further devalue an institution largely responsible for the current strength of nominally Judeo-Christian nations worldwide. The further undermining of this institution responsible for providing children, which are a nation’s future economy, would require governments to aggressively seek immigrants to fill the economic void. The results of this in Canada have caused a national identity crisis. It seems that those being added to the society do not come from Judeo-Christian backgrounds. This causes the society eventually to change to one of multicultural confusion, rather than one of principled steadfast purpose.

This is bad, not because the new culture is either inferior or superior, but because there becomes too many cooks in the kitchen, which can result in anarchy as we stumble forward with no apparent direction. If those in Canada thought that bilingualism and Quebec separatism was a thorny issue, wait until non Judeo-Christian groups are the majority rather than a small faction of society. At that point, we who established our nation in a democratic setting, will no longer control the direction of the nation. That may or may not cause concern, but what happens if the majority in such a society prefer a non-democratic government? At that point our identity as founders of a nation will be over. What is the remedy for this? Should we slow immigration.

What we must do is renew our belief through knowledge, not blind faith, in the institutions that made the United States of America strong from the beginning. One of those institutions that gave us strength was marriage. The settlers of this nation were not the greedy corporations from England, nor the opportunist voyageurs or gold miners. They were the monogamous married pioneer families, who through the strength of those families made this nation inhabitable from sea to sea. What made us strong before can make us strong again. A belief in Judeo-Christian values that command us to join one man with one wife, to love and serve our wives and families, to work hard, have many children, love our neighbours, help those less fortunate no matter what their ethnicity or nationality, and work together as a community (Not the federal government. That’s not their job.) for the betterment of all.

I believe that no religion should ever force anyone to believe anything. Therefore, if gay couples wish to join in a lifelong union, that should be their right to do so. However, to usurp the term “marriage” is not a defense of their inalienable rights, but an attack on those people’s beliefs that hold marriage to be a sacred God-given gift. To insist on the term “marriage” is to persecute those who hold that homosexuality is immoral. We are supposed to be a tolerant society, so where is the tolerance to be found in those who wish to enforce their wills on Bible-believing Christians and Jews? Marriage is a religious term and as such is not subject to the whims of democracy, but to the will of almighty God in heaven, who in Ezekiel states “I do not change.”
