Democrats and Drug Dealers

In law enforcement it was fairly easy to know when a new drug dealer entered an area. They all used the same business model. First step was cheap or free drugs, just enough to get the users addicted then the prices got jacked up and they claimed supply shortages to raise prices even more.

This is the Democrats when they create a new government give away program. Democrats require that voters be users and be totally dependent on them for the necessities of living. Democrats have in the past addicted the populace to free money now they want to Schedule one narcotics to the mix.

I pity the next President and Legislature for their first order of business will be tough love. They must turn off the government spigot of free. They must go after the programs that require no input from the users and abusers; they must secure our borders. They must go through all our Federal Laws and programs and either eliminate or simplify. This will cause a lot of gnashing of teeth in Washington because as the programs shrink, get simpler or entirely disappear, the number of employees required to run the programs will also shrink or disappear.

Few government employees will assist in the demise of their own jobs, yet in the past this has been the government way. They ask each department to rewrite the rules and make the budget cuts. This next time it should be the voters in volunteer committees that assist in the change.

Government over the years has slipped out of the people’s control. Government is now controlled by lawyers, lobbyists, special interest groups, minorities, corporations and politicians. Government has to return control to the people.

Demons From a Doomed War

October 10, 2009 by TXPoet

(Updated)

I received an email this past week about a flight where some people bought sack lunches for soldiers going off to war. This email is one of several making the rounds. There are also a couple of videos and even commercials making the rounds about people offering support to our military men and women.

These are a big change from my landing in Oakland on my first trip home from Vietnam. We were advised not to wear our uniforms in public so as not to “agitate” or exacerbate public opinion. Protestors were known to spit on returning soldiers. They were also known to throw blood or fake blood on service members. GIs were subjected to derogatory name calling and dishonored at every turn.

Try as I will I have never gotten over my treatment upon returning from a war that we forfeited and slunk away from like cowards. The protestors of the early 70s are now in charge of this country and once again they have no guilt about denigrating our servicemen and women.

I have spent the last couple of weeks fighting off the demons caused by my PTSD. Normally I avoid “triggers” but I have discovered some new ones. Peace symbols are now back in vogue worn by Obama’s kids, celebrities, and fashionistas. One of my frequent nightmares involves me getting hit with a Molotov cocktail while guarding the Army Post Office in Oakland, California. The burn scars are still on my arm, faded but I can see them. The last thing I saw before covering my face to protect it was the peace symbol and tie dyed clothing.

I recently went to a neighborhood reunion, where those from the community that have given all in defense of our freedoms were honored with a moment of silence, but all I could see was people there wearing peace symbols. Those symbols didn’t translate as peace to me, they translated as surrender, as treason, and as my enemy.

I gave a lot for this country. I don’t expect anything for my sacrifice. I never did. It was my duty and I did it.

I am of an age I don’t expect to be around much longer. I will leave nothing behind; my lineage will end. I pray that this Country and the freedoms I and every other veteran has fought to preserve will be our lasting heritage. That is my reason for adamantly opposing the slide into socialism that the Obama Administration is trying to shove down our throats.

The Sky is Falling …

 An old fable is updated…

Chicken Barry was walking along one day when he was hit in the head by a falling nut. Unknown to Chicken Barry, the nut didn’t fall it was actually thrown by Chicken George aka Sorry Soros. Unapologetic Billie Airs had positioned Chicken Barry for the full impact from the nut. Billie Airs told Chicken Barry that the sky was falling and that only he could prevent the end of the world. Chicken Barry then started running and telling everyone he saw about the doom and gloom that lie ahead, but due to his head injury he kept forgetting the message and required a teleprompter to remind him every time he spoke. Chicken Barry told all his friends, there was Fancy Nancy, Scary Harry, Odd Dodd and Smarmy Barney who heard the message and proceeded to cover their ass-ets with large government umbrellas. Even that crazy Anti-war Gore got in the act by claiming that the reason the sky was falling was too many people breathing and producing carbon dioxide. This fit into Anti-War Gore’s overall plan of making more money since he had positioned himself to be the retailer of carbon credits. Chicken George then used his wealth to manipulate a fake emergency and caused his blind followers to repeat the lie, the economy is failing, the economy is failing, and the economy is failing. They did this until a majority actually believed the lie. Then they all started a campaign to make a spending rush to bankruptcy, screaming “Now, Now, Now!” This enabled Chicken Barry to give control of banking, transportation and energy to friends of Sorry Soros. This had been the plan for over 30 years. Friends of Chicken Barry were now poised to totally destroy everything so they could live as potentates over their minions. A dynasty had to be created from the ruins. They continued to scream “Now, Now, Now. Healthcare, stimulus, capitulation, apologies, Racism, reparations, amnesty, a second constitution, subservience to enemies, Ala Akbar, what ever Chicken Barry wants. Every one listen and obey, do it quick there isn’t much time.

Chicken Barry was permanently addled from the bombardment of nuts, which he now recognized as acorns. His head would never be normal again.

Even though he no longer could reason logically, Chicken Barry and his friends knew that their game was discovered by a few but they had counted on that. Let the people stand up and complain. It would be their demise. It would give Chicken Barry the excuse he needed to declare martial law and to suspend all rights previously granted under that worthless piece of paper they call the Constitution!

While the people run around screaming, the end is near, the sky is falling, God is dead, America is dead, capitalism is dead, the oceans are rising, the skies are on fire, and other slogans popular with the uninformed, Chicken George is continuing to make even more money and destroy more governments in his hope for an esperanto speaking New World Order.

Obama Has a Lot in Common with Kanye

Shortly after 9/11 I unplugged my television. I was fed up. This February I plugged it back it. Now I must consider unplugging it again.

This coming Sunday will be a good time to be in church. The pretender, the great one, great leader, the big O (is the O for overexposed?), by whatever name you call him, will be doing the rounds of the big three on Sunday 20 September. In his first seven months as POTUS he has done 114 interviews compared to 41 by Clinton and 37 by Bush.

By choosing a Sunday morning he is hoping to speak to his strength and loyal demographics, the non-religious viewers. I am guess that in his twenty plus years of the great Bible scholar Jeremiah Wright, BHO never heard about keeping the Sabbath holy or perhaps he celebrates another day as his Sabbath.

Not since Kanye West stole the microphone from Taylor Swift have we seen a more egregious cry for the spotlight.

We have seen how Obama hogs the microphone at his so called “town halls”, once he starts talking he doesn’t shut up but he has yet to say anything substantive. I would pity the poor interviewers if I actually expected them to do their jobs but that will never happen. They are no longer true journalists or reporters, they have become sycophants.  Obama has to have adoration because he is intolerant of any viewpoint that even hints of being different.

The one place you won’t see Obama is on Fox. They are mean to the anointed one…they actually ask hard questions and TOTUS requires programming with answers by Axelrod and Rahm. No, an unscripted interview with the narcissist Obama is not a good idea, nor would it be good for his reputation as an orator.

Er…er…er… I… We…

Barack, solo or with at least part of his family have dominated the Time and Newsweek magazine covers for the last 19 months. It must be wearing on him for his hair seems to go from salt and pepper to black and back again, or perhaps that’s just the reflection from his faux halo that he is having grafted to his horns for his next coronation as Leader of the World.

If You Thought Van Jones Was Bad…

While everyone was distracted by the health care debate, the 912 DC Rally and the expose of ACORN. The Obamanation crew slipped in another radical.

While some pundits have cherry picked the writings of this individual, it is more interesting to read the full quotes. This new Czar shows himself to be an above average double speak academic. While some of his fan club down play the influence he could bring to bear in his new position, most agree that he is intelligent and well written.

The most dangerous proposal by this man is a “Second Bill of Rights” as advocated by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1944.

While on the surface these look like lofty ideals, below the surface they are linked directly to the history of socialized nations. They are programs that have failed not because they were bad ideas but because the people implementing them had a lust for power and control, sort of like the Obama Administration.

Let’s take a deeper look.

The right of a job. Questions to ask are: Can we force private business to hire workers that they don’t need? If private enterprise doesn’t provide the jobs, who does? Isn’t our Government large enough already? Conservation Corps, AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, National Security Force; any of these ring a bell?

The right to earn in order to provide “adequate” food, clothing and recreation. Who determines what is adequate? The government is already over taxing things they feel we shouldn’t have, now they want to tax soda, and snacks. Bread lines anyone? Clothing? Will the government be able to tell us what to wear? How about Mao pajamas for everyone? That will help us achieve a classless society, but then what would Michelle do about her kicks? or her haute couture? The Constitution gives us the right to work at a job of our choice. Its up to the individual to apply themselves. Recreation? I recreate by going to the target range, but I am betting this will not be “approved” recreation.

The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living. Will they do away with zoning laws? Eminent domain? Intrusive EPA, OSHA, and Dept of Agriculture regulations? Nope, but they do plan on increasing these rules. Can you say communes and collectives?

The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad.  I thought this was the purpose of DOT and the FTC. What constitutes unfair competition? Is Walmart unfair because they can negotiate better prices? Just because Union wages increase prices and a small business owner can do the job cheaper should we be forced to buy Union? Too late on this one Obama has decreed that all Federal contracts will go to Unions. Spend more money for a shoddier product. Go buy a Yugo or Russian toilet paper now so you can get used to it.

The right of every family to a decent home.  This worked well in Russian and East Germany. The government took homes and subdivided them then assigned them to the have not’s. Housing was assigned based on job and party position. Notice that nothing is said about singles because they are expected to remain with mom and dad. Subsidized Government housing has worked well here also. Within months of admitting Section 8 residents most complexes were uninhabitable. Let’s make the whole country into a ghetto.

The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health.  Adequate health care? Again who decides? Since Obama care is based on cost analysis treatment how will they avoid “death panels”? We already have a system in place that enables hard working people to find a job that offers superior health care. The current system isn’t perfect and does need some tweaking, but mostly it needs government to butt out.

The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment.  Interesting a life without worry, a life with stress, a utopian existence. If this was possible why did God create Heaven? He could have just let us all live here for eternity. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, retirement funds, 401(k)s, oops scratch that Obama also wants to take over all retirement funds and have the Government run them.

The right to a good education.  Foreigners send their children to our institutes of higher learning. Our primary education system is bogged down with teaching tests and stifling free thought. Our schools have become day prisons under past Democratic (the party not the idea) legislation. Students are being indoctrinated into socialism, homosexuality, radicalism, and political correction. Christianity is being besieged as are American ideals, history and civics. If the Federal Government really wants to improve education they should repeal all their current laws.

In addition this new Czar feels that the internet is weakening democracy because it cuts the user off from any information that might challenge their beliefs. A controlled one sided media is what this imbecile advocates, sort of like what we have now except for cable news from Fox.

Now that we see this man’s plan we must compare it to Obama’s. It is obviously the same goal. The ruination and destruction of America as we know it, and as the founding fathers envisioned it. Who is this danger?

Cass R. Sunstein,Regulatory Czar, confirmed by the Senate on September 10, 2009 in a 57-40 vote.

Obama’s War

Why is Obama willing to commit more military into Afghanistan? Is he really trying to catch Bin Laden? Why would Obama do something that is so out of character for him?

We have already seen how new restrictions and the new rules of engagement not only put our soldiers at greater risk but also gets them killed.

We know that Obama empathizes with the terrorists of 9-11. We know that he has bowed subserviently to the Saudi King, purveyor and financier of radical Islam.

We see Obama slash the Defense budget that includes items required for the protection of military personnel. We see further escalation and Iranian arms being used by the enemy in Afghanistan without comment from the White House. We see Russia, North Korea, Venezuela and Iran banding together to stymie us in Afghanistan. Perhaps their aim is to suck us dry just like what happened to the old USSR when it got mired in Afghanistan, but what is Obama’s plan.

What would he have to gain? Why would Obama send soldiers, young patriots, mostly conservatives, primarily Republican-leaning in their politics, to their deaths without every advantage that this Nation could give them?

Leader Of The World Barack H. Obama

September 9, 2009 by TXPoet

Barack Hussein Obama is smiling this month. Despite minor setbacks he successfully pulled off his speech to the American school children and made some opponents look silly by a last minute change in the speech.

Next up is yet another “historic” speech teleprompter reading to the Nation about how his healthcare plan will save the Nation. It is a sure bet that once again he will lie and fail to explain that his plan will also bankrupt America.

Finally on September 24th, he steps back on to the world stage and chairs the UN Security Council. This is yet another opportunity for him to campaign as Leader of the World (”LOW”). This is his ultimate goal. He wants to lead the “people of the world”, who will then be known as “POW’s.”

Obama has shown in the past that he is willing to put the USA under the dominion of the UN, subjugating Americans to the whims of our enemies. One of the actual times Obama sponsored something during his short tenure as a senator, was when he sponsored the Global Poverty Act, (S. 2433, also HR 2639), which would have placed the sale and manufacture of all small arms and ammunition in the US under the auspices of the UN. It also would have also required the US pour even more money into the UN.

Obama’s actions on the international front have already emboldened our enemies to increase nuclear proliferation and dare us to do anything about it.  He has attempted to influence and punish the Honduran government for following their own constitution and ousting an attempt to create yet another Dictator for life. His choice of UN Ambassador (Susan Rice) specialized in the implications of global poverty.

The Security Council meeting will bring together the biggest egotists and megalomaniacs of this century and Obama will do anything to win the contest as the most congenial megalomaniac.

Won’t You Be My Friend? By Barack

The White House today released the prepared remarks that are to allegedly going to be given to school children via a Nationwide feed.

The speech at first glance seems innocuous. It has one good point. It is evident that it is prepared for a teleprompter so school children across the Nation will understand that you have to be able to read.

The speech is supposedly about responsibility.

responsibility

noun (pl. responsibilities) 1 A form of trustworthiness; the trait of being answerable to someone for something or being responsible for one’s conduct. 2 the opportunity or ability to act independently and take decisions without authorization. 3 a thing which one is required to do as part of a job, role, or legal obligation

Since Obama brought the subject up perhaps we should dig a little deeper into the speech.

The quotes below are from the prepared remarks.

My father left my family when I was two years old, and I was raised by a single mother who struggled at times to pay the bills and wasn’t always able to give us things the other kids had.

  • 2 Feb 1961 Barack H. Obama Sr. marries Stanley A. Dunham (he is already married in Kenya)
  • 4 Aug 1961 Barack H. Obama II born
  • 19 Aug 1961 Stanley Dunham with Obama II in to shows up in Seattle, WA and registers for UofW
  • Jun 1962 Obama Sr. graduates UofH an shortly after leaves for Harvard
  • Two years old. Either Obama’s math skills are totally lacking, (which after hearing his economics plans could be correct) or his mother lied to him and he still hasn’t figured it out or he is lying.
  • Jan 1964 Dunham files for divorce. Divorce granted in Mar 1964.
  • 1965 Dunham marries Lolo Soetoro in Hawaii.
  • 1967 Barack Soetoro aka Obama moves to Indonesia
  • Obama attended the Franciscus Assisi Primary School in Jakarta Indonesia for grades 1,2, and3 because his mother was a US Embassy employee. Grade 4 he attended Besuki Public School.
  • Obama states his mother couldn’t afford his schooling yet she was married to an Indonesian Government geologist, who later worked for Mobil Oil. Franciscus Assisi Primary School is not a public school. Someone paid.
  • 1972 Dunham leaves Soetoro and returns to Hawaii where Barry attends the Punahou School, an expensive college preparatory academy.

I got a lot of second chances and had the opportunity to go to college, and law school, and follow my dreams. My wife, our First Lady Michelle Obama, has a similar story. Neither of her parents had gone to college, and they didn’t have much. But they worked hard, and she worked hard, so that she could go to the best schools in this country.

Interesting he mentions how Michelle’s college got paid for but skips over who paid for his. This is one question he refuses to answer. I wonder why!

No one’s born being good at things, you become good at things through hard work.

It takes a lot of hard work to become a proficient liar and teleprompter reader. Perhaps he should learn the 50 States and their capitals.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions.

If you ask questions of him be prepared for payback (just ask Rick Santelli) or derision from Georgetown Gibbs. It’s silly time. (Don’t go getting all wee wee-ed up now Robert, just smile for the cameras and giggle like a school girl.)

I’m working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books, equipment and computers you need to learn.

He is working hard on putting the students in debt for their entire lifetimes and the lifetimes of their children.

Thank you, God bless you, and God bless America.

Barack Obama has already proven his dislike this country during his Apology Tour. I wonder what God he is talking about since according to him America is not a Christian Nation.

Responsibility involves truthfulness. Obama has proven many times this year that he falls far short in this area. His refusal to allow access to his birth records and school records shouts WHY. He has a legal responsibility to prove his eligibility but he refuses to the tune of 1.4 million dollars in legal costs so far. Lies slip off his tongue like butter.  He surrounds himself with ne’er do wells anti-American academics and avowed socialists, interested in changing the principles on which America was founded. Responsibility involves taking the blame along with the credit, yet he blames others for his mistakes and errors.

Obama, in his effort to do something worthwhile, once again displays his desire to be in the spotlight without substance only a teleprompter script.

In God Government We Trust…

First I must make a few things perfectly clear. I love America. I have traveled to over 25 countries and I have resided in five as part of my employment with the Government.

Second, I am a veteran. I took an oath to defend this Country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. I also took an oath to protect and serve.

I never took any oath that said My Government, right or wrong. I never took an oath that required me to follow blindly. Why has been and always be a part of my vocabulary!

Thirdly, I am not affiliated with any party. I used to be a Democrat and served that party in a State office. I broke with the Democrats a long time ago. The nature of my work prevented me from being politically active and I ignored politics except when it came time for me to vote. I believe in the Constitution and small government and a Higher Power.

That being said, I make the following declaration:

I do NOT trust our Government. I didn’t trust it under LBJ, Nixon, Ford,  Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, and I sure don’t trust it under Barack Hussein Obama.

Reagan and Bush 41 were probably the most trustworthy but I was and am always leery.  Bush 43 I respected his views and his loyalty but I distrusted a lot of his advisors. I rarely agree with every thing that our Government does. I distrust all politicians, most lawyers, doctors, and preachers. People have to earn my trust.

It saddens me to see the people of America becoming lemmings. My parents and grandparents instilled within me a sense of self-reliance and independence. They also instilled a strong sense of patriotism and service.

I am disturbed by my visions of trusting, smiling Americans lining up with US Flag patches (instead of the Star of David) sewn to their shirts, marching headlong into concrete brick buildings with “green” chimneys and not coming out. Multitudes who have turned total control of their lives over to the Government… because they trust blindly and are enthralled with a cult of personality.

I Do Solemnly Swear … To Lie

 obama_swearing_in

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

This is the oath a President takes on Inauguration Day. This is the oath of office that Barack Obama took.

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

This is the oath that every military member takes.

Do you notice the difference?

Let’s look at a few facts.

China just announced that on October 1st in its National Day Parade it will unveil several new short, medium and intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Russian Air Force contracts $190 million to buy new missiles.

Russia is developing new missiles to counter the US’ defensive missile umbrella developed and promised to Allies.

Iran has made and is making or altering pre-existing missiles that can now reach Israel and Southern Europe. In addition Iran is testing missiles in such a manner it is likely that they will be used to create an electrical magnetic pulse instead of a ground explosion and have purchased submarines as a delivery system.

North Korea has been testing in violation of UN agreements, short, medium and long range missiles. They are also suspected of selling missile guidance system information to Iran, Pakistan, and Burma.

Obama has cut the 2010 budget for missile purchase and research by 1.2 billion dollars. He has also reneged on the NATO missile shield program and discontinued all funding. Poland and the Czech Republic are left defenseless in the path of overt Russian aggression. Georgia has already been invaded and our allies now are just waiting for the attack that is to come. Obama has already suggested the reduction of our munitions and missiles. He is reducing the size of the military while trying to increase his own personal National Security Force. In a Bill (HR 645) already introduced he desires large interment camps to be established for “national emergencies”.

Obama believes the Constitution that he swore to upholds is flawed.

If Obama had taken the second oath, the oath of enlistment, he would already be on trial for failing that oath. As for his violating the inauguration oath, well he doesn’t believe in Our Constitution any way.

This is a man whose past is hidden and murky. His allegiances unknown. This man would not even be allowed to join our Armed Forces with what we know and what we still don’t know.

Now tell me again why there is no move to impeach this man?

Seeing Through the Wool of ObamaCare

September 1, 2009 by TXPoet

The primary reason given by the White House and the socialist members of Congress for needed healthcare reform is skyrocketing costs and un-affordability of insurance. They are correct about the costs but then they have added things to the current proposal (HR 3200) which will only increase costs, increase government control of our day to day lives, decrease our life expectancy, decrease our individual privacy and bankrupt this Nation.

Let’s do a quick examination of healthcare. Pharmaceutical companies who are pushing for the proposal are still making profit with markups on drugs that often are ridiculous. One reporter in Detroit found that generic drugs had a markup of over 3000%. That is for normal retailers NOT hospitals where the markup is even higher.

While on the subject of hospitals, have you ever wondered why costs are so high? Most people think it is the Doctors but they would be wrong. According to the Department of Labor statistics and Payscale.com the mean salary for Physicians ranges from $121K to $212K depending on specialty. Remember that figure. Also remember that most doctors work long, irregular hours. Often doctors work in excess of 60 hour weeks and they are required to pay for their own malpractice insurance and expensive equipment. Nurses average $45.5K. Were you aware that many medical professionals are self-employed? Even those whom you come into contact with in the hospital. ER physicians are often contract workers billing separately for their time. Doctors are only associated with hospitals few are employees. Nurses often work from a registry and are not employees of the hospital.

You should ask them why. I have. Nurses employed by a hospital lose many rights. Their jobs are in jeopardy if they object to JCAHO violations or Doctor’s errors. They are often mandated to work double shifts endangering patients. Just who is a hospital employee? The dietitian, perhaps the pharmacist, maybe the janitorial staff, sometimes the security, but always the Administration.

Just what does an administration make? Well in the case of Michelle Obama from $121,910 to $316,962 per annum. She was one of 16 Vice Presidents at her hospital all with equivalent salaries. Her qualifications for the job? Community organizer. Her major accomplishment? A plan to divert non-paying patients to other medical facilities. After she left to “support” her husband her job that was so crucial to the hospital that it was folded into another office and disappeared.

Her position at the University of Chicago Medical Center was the Office of Community Affairs (External Affairs) and had never existed prior to her hiring. The job started out with just her and an aide but when she was done the office staff had bulged to 23. This is typical of most hospitals. The administrative staff exceeds the employees. During a recent stay in the hospital I inquired of the nurse (registry) what his current patient load was. I was in a Critical Cardiac Care unit where patient load should be from one to five patients per nurse. His reply was telling, he had 26 patients on the midnight shift. How could this happen?

Easy, the hospital counted up every nurse on duty in the hospital for a 24 hour period including those that were not assigned nursing duties and divided that by all the patients; ambulatory and non-critical were grouped with the critical and intensive care. During my stay, there were two critical mistakes made with my meds either of which could have caused me severe harm or death and a phlebotomist drew my blood while I was in a drug induced sleep but left the tourniquet on my arm, thankfully my nurse found it before any real damage was done.

The cost of a hospital room? It varies depending on care but a 2005 study said it averaged $1237 per day and remember that does NOT include the cost of the doctors, medications, tests or equipment. The cost of a stay in ICU or CCU for that same study; $2401.

Hospitals justify their administrative costs by saying they need the personnel to meet government reporting requirements. So in effect they are claiming that the majority of hospital costs are caused by Big Brother and now Obama wants to add additional layers of administration, additional reporting requirements and government employees to “monitor” and enforce his reforms? Give me a break.

And the SEIU, the largest healthcare union wants to promote this so called reform. Personally, I smell a rat. When has any union actually improved quality control or lowered the cost of anything?  A Science Advisor who promotes eugenics, population control and euthanasia, and a wife who sucked at the tit of corporate shills enriching herself and hubby raising health care costs and an Administration full of socialist leaning non-tax paying Chicago thugs does not bode well for America.

I owe my life to dedicated nurses and they deserve all the credit I can give them, but they are caught up in the untenable position of doing their job correctly and being fired or caving to the wishes of greedy administrators. This is much the same position the average American voter is being placed in.

Do we need health care reform? Yes, but not ObamaCare, we need real reform; tort reform, honest nurse to patient ratios, realistic reporting requirements, smaller hospital administrations, and enforcement of patient rights.

It is time for you to choose sides and speak up!

Obama is going to disregard years of diplomacy and promises of protection to Democratic nations. His actions will embolden Putin’s Socialist States to accomplish their aim of rebuilding the USSR. His failure to follow through on promises will cause even our staunchest allies to distrust us. His actions will make it easier for Iran to spread its umbrella of terror.

Obama has nationalized banking and automobiles. He has put capitalism under the control of his appointed “Czars” who aren’t responsible to the voters or Congress. They staff their offices  and draw in six figure salaries living off the sweat and hard work of tax paying Americans all the while pursuing their inane hatred of this country. They were plucked from a conglomeration of radical ideologies with a common goal, that of destroying American ideals.

From his Attorney General who won’t prosecute racists who attempted to intimidate voters but will pursue American intelligence Agents who blew second hand smoke into the faces of prisoner captured on the battlefield to his Homeland Security Secretary who thinks veterans, Bible readers, gun owners and conservative bloggers are the only real terrorists and his Science Czar who believes in population control and compulsory abortion, this Administration is a bunch of nuts and crackpots from every fringe element.

From a cap and trade con-game designed to destroy the financial backbone of America to give away programs like HR 3200, the Obama Kennedycare Bill, designed to create even more poverty and make more citizens dependent on handouts. While our enemies dance in the streets, shooting Christians our Great Leader is apologizing for our belief system. From a Green Czar who is an acknowledged communist with a belief that we deserved what happened on 9-11 to paid agitators who attack dissenting citizens, to “Bully” Congressmen who threaten legal businesses with subpoenas in an effort to shut them up. Censorship both of media and the internet, “false flags”, red herrings, and all the transparency of a brick wall from a Community Organizer who hides all his records. Smoke and mirrors, distraction and diversion are the norm while in the back rooms they plot to destroy this Nation.

And yet with all the Machiavellian manipulations of this Anti-American mob that is in power, too few Americans bother to get inform, even fewer speak out. Teachers who indoctrinate rather than teach, Politicians that go with the money rather than stand on principles.

I didn’t think any President could be as bad as Jimmy Carter, sadly I now know I was in error.

I have this say…

Wake the HELL up America !!

Concepts for Conservatives

(Updated)

I am a conservative. I realize that a lot of people make that claim without having any real concept of what it means. I also realize that when made in the  presence of liberals such an admission brings scowls, scoffing or outright verbal attacks on one’s: parentage, intelligence, education or belief system.

Only by understanding the enemies of freedom and democracy can we win this battle against socialism. The  community agitator and author Saul Alinsky wrote a “book” entitled “Rules for Radicals” (Amazon.com ISBN # 0679721134, Be sure to read the reviews by readers). I am sure most of you have at least by now heard of it but wonder how many of you have studied it.

Sun Tzu in his treatise “The Art of War” stated:

It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

To fight any battle without intelligence and information on the opposing force is just plain stupid.

Alinsky, himself, acknowledged that true change comes only with revolution. His book is a primer on how to foment that revolution and create class warfare. It was written specifically to cause dissent and encourage the “have-nots” to take every thing away from the “haves”. In other words to unite the takers and do nothings of the world to live off the sweat and labor of the productive.

Alinsky believed that capitalism was Machiavellian in nature, that if you were rich you got there by being devious and dishonest.

Alinsky like his acolytes Obama, Clinton, Davis, Ayers, and most of the current administration realized that they had to create change from inside the system. They had to agitate from within and then attack. They are still agitating and still attacking American ideals and principles!

The first step in community organization is community disorganization.

Alinsky’s rules were guidelines that had to be fluid and changeable according to the situation, much like Obama’s speeches.

Alinsky’s strategy was to bait and goad opponents into reacting. Diversion from the issues and blaming others. Well so far this has been Obama’s tactics also.

The current situation is not just a political exercise or cycle it is a war. Each action by the opposition is intended to be a battle for the hearts and minds of the un or ill informed. You must brace for it, be prepared. You must attempt to educate and prepare others so that they see through the smoke screens intentionally being deployed while they attempt back room deals and hidden agendas in Congressional Bills. We must all be ever vigilant and prepared to fight to hold on to the principles and ethics that this great Republic was founded on.

At least be aware of Alinsky’s basic rules so that you can spot them when they are applied. Arm yourselves with knowledge and spread the truth because there is nothing that they hate more than the truth. When they then start labeling you and calling you names you know that you have at least one small battle. The battle is on! Are you prepared for the War?

Why Obama’s Ineffectualness is Dangerous!

Like most veterans, my memories of my days in the service are a combination of good and bad. The best thing was the spirit of brotherhood; the comradery.

My worst times in the service all had one thing in common; ineffectual leaders.  Now please don’t take this wrong I served under some outstanding men, but I also met my fair share of ticket punching toadies.

I remember a day when my team and I were taking a break at a firebase on our way back from a mission when a butter bar (2d Lieutenant) came into camp on a slick (Huey). There he was in his crisply ironed jungle fatigues and polished boots, clean shaved and looking like a recruiting poster. The first words out of his mouth were, “Who in the hell set up these defenses? I want that heavy machine gun down  near the concertina (wire)!”

There were a few problems with this. First he was pointing at an M60 which is not a heavy machine gun and second by placing it closer to the wire limited its effectiveness. It was at that time localed properly high where its field of fire was about one third of the perimeter fence and over the heads of the camp’s defenders.. Right away this idiot opened his mouth, inserted his nicely shined boots and destroyed his credibility as a leader. I can only hope that later he changed before he got someone killed.

I have returned from long range missions and entered camp only to be accosted by some REMF ( Rear echelon M___F____, you get the idea) like the Sergeant Major who tried to take me to task for having improper boot laces (I used insulated wire since cotton and nylon would quickly rot in the jungle) and for the condition of my uniform (after a 14 day hump). His lambasting came to a quick halt when he looked into my eyes and he noticed my non-standard weapons (we carried Swedish K’s and Browning High Powers). He realized that I did not come under his authority. His first clue should have been the lack of rank and unit insignia. I pity the troops under this “spit and polish” idiot who didn’t have a clue.

We actually had some areas that we prohibited from returning enemy fire unless we radioed in for permission first, so that some REMF could decide if our lives were worth saving. This created a lot of animosity and uncertainty among troops on the front lines.

The problem with ineffectual leaders is that they can and do get people killed. They think they know it all and if they don’t know they will make it up as they go. They got ahead because of who they knew not what they did. This is a lot like what a Community Organizer does when elected to a high political office. Incompetent leaders will send underlings to their death and then cover up their ineptitude by “throwing someone else under the bus”.

A good leader does not operate in a vacuum. A leader must listen to those following. The first thing a good leader must acknowledge is that they do not know it all. The second thing they must realize is that they work for and represent the people following them. A good leader recognizes and admits mistakes, they also absorb the blame for mistakes of the people under them.

When you move into the higher echelons of power you become isolated and have to make a conscious effort to get out of the puzzle palace and become a normal grunt. You have to go face to face with the people following you because often your closest advisors have their own agendas or simply will tell you only what they think you want to hear. A deaf leader is one who rules from above and is the most detested and the most dangerous.  A blind and deaf leader is not a true leader they are a tyrant.
