Exposing more “Truther” Lies about Flight 93
January 20, 2010 by Victor Chabala
It’s once again time to confuse “truthers with facts.
One conspiracy theory “truthers” use to attempt to “prove” their point is that voice-morphing technology was used to fake the calls from the Flight 93 passengers (source ).
However, as we see here, George Papcun, who invented Voice Morphing Technology, points out the problems with that statement, which are as follows: 1: He would have needed extensive samples of voices to fake those phone calls and there’s no way he could have done that as he couldn’t possible know which of the passengers would call home ( plus there’s also the possibility of people cancelling their reservations or otherwise changing their plans), and 2) He could not possibly know what those people would say in that situation, pet names, references to offspring, etc.
This site also provides other problems with “truther” claims about Flight 93.
The Associated Press story that Flight 93 landed in Cleveland was, in point of fact a mistake, and a retraction was printed shortly thereafter. Liz Foreman, who is linked to the article, stated that they removed the link but forgot to remove the story (source ). Considering the confusion that tends to result in those situations, there’s nothing suspicious or sinister about that- it’s called human error.
This link also shows the problems with the 9/11 “Truth” Movement’s claims that Flight 93 was shot down and debris was found miles from the crash site.
As I pointed out in an earlier article, there was a white jet, a Dassault Falcon 20 in the area, which was asked by the FAA to investigate the crash site and did so- that jet came down to 1500 ft, saw the hole in the ground, pinpointed it, and left ( reference ). There was also an unarmed C- 130 cargo plane on the way back to Minnesota, but it was 17 miles away and never went below 24,000 feet (source ).
Also, one of the engine fans was recovered about 300 yards from the crash site, which isn’t that far, and Michael K. Hynes, who is an airline accident expert states that it’s fairly common for an engine in a plane crash to “ tumble across the ground” (reference ).
An NSTB study shows that during the last 10 minutes, Flight 93 was under 12, 000 ft. In addition, Ed Felt called and said he saw white smoke at about 9:58 am, and Flight 93 was at 5000 ft at that time. The trouble is, shortly thereafter, flight 93 went up to 10,000 ft before it crashed (source ). Hint to “truthers:” A plane that gets shot down is NOT going to suddenly climb 5000 ft before crashing- it’s going drop right to the ground.
As for the claim that the cell phones could not have worked, 1: Only 2 of the calls from Flight 93 were made from cell phones, and 2) the cell phone calls came at about 9:58 am, at which time the plane was a mere 5000 ft above sea level, meaning the cell phones would work, no problem (reference ).
Finally, regarding the claim that the hole was too small for an aircraft, 1) Numerous eyewitnesses saw a PLANE, 2) Everyone was identified by their DNA, 3) a lot of aircraft debris was found, as were both black boxes, and 4) Just as in the case of the Pentagon, Flight 93 was going at a very high rate of speed on impact ( source ). As I’ve pointed out numerous times- and as any physics book will tell you, it’s the mass and velocity of the object that determines the size and shape of the hole. NOT the shape of the object and, also as any physics book will tell you, kinetic energy ( a.k.a energy of motion) increases by the SQUARE of the velocity ( written as KE = ½ mv2). Hint: A speeding aircraft that hits the ground or any other solid object is NOT going to remain intact.
Clearly, the only investigation needed is an investigation into what the “truthers” are smoking.

Ray Stevens, on Obamacare (priceless!):
by Ray Stevens
It’s gonna be a big heart breaker,
Grandma needs a new pace maker,
And the doctor says, “I realize she’s ill,
But there’s talk of legislation, on all our medication,
and maybe all we can do is put her on a pain pill.”
Whoa, me! Hey, Congress!
You vote Obamacare,
We’re gonna vote you outta there!
We the People have awakened to your tricks.
You vote to let this pass,
You’ll be out on your ____!
‘Cause we the people have awakened…
And to put it in words you might understand, if you had the common sense that God gave a billy goat, you’d no doubt noticed that your constituents, the electorate – that’s us, voters – are onto your pork-barrel-special-interest-tax-and-spend-scam. Or, to put it more succinctly, “Heh, heh, heh, Thwwwwwwwwp!”
We’ve heard from Hannity, Beck, and Limbaugh,
What you’ve got in mind for Grandma,
And we found this O’Reilly fella on Fox.
We’re kinda like Joe the Plumber,
And when WE crunch the numbers,
It all adds up to votin’ you out at the ballot box!
He he he he he he…
You vote Obamacare,
We’re gonna vote you outta there!
We the People have awakened to your tricks.
You vote to let this pass,
You’ll be out on your ____!
‘Cause we the people have awakened…
And to put it mildly, we’re harboring feelings of extreme alienation, due to copious amounts of horse manure that have been shoveled out of the White House AND the Capitol Building, and we sense that we are being royally defecated upon. (Ha ha!) Yeah, we’re gettin’ the impression that you think we are not relevant to these proceedings, and dismissing our input into the situation.
Please tell Nancy Pelosi,
We’re gonna do the Hokey Pokey,
Put the “right” ones in,
Pull the “left” ones out.
You vote Obamacare,
We’re gonna vote you outta there!
We the People have awakened to your tricks.
You vote to let this pass,
You’ll be out on your ____!
Yeah, we the people have awakened…
And you might want to start looking for another line of work. How ’bout the medical profession? Ha ha. Yeah, they’re gonna need every one that can put up with the red tape and the pay cut. Hey, why don’t you kill every last job, tax every last penny, and infringe on every God-given right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?! ‘Cause let me tell you, ain’t NOBODY happy with you!
We the People have awakened…
And it occurs to me that you might really like it down in Venezuela!

I don’t claim to know it all,
And I hope this Country doesn’t fall,
But we’re headed in the wrong direction way too fast.
Obama and his Czars are out of control,
While the working man’s getting deeper in the hole.
We’d all better hope and pray this, too, shall pass.
Who do these liberals think they are,
Telling us to drive electric cars,
While Obama bows down to the Saudi King?
I hope the headlines read two thousand and ten,
“The Republican Party’s in control again,
and Kenya voted Pelosi to be their Queen.”
Chorus
Don’t look now, but here they come,
Hide your Bibles, hide your guns!
America as we know it won’t be the same.
The rednecks and Christians are losing ground,
While Obama keep spreadin’ our wealth around.
Will someone please tell him to, “Keep his change?!”
I’m not apologizing for being glad
when ACORN’s cat jumped out of the bag.
My hat’s off to you guys at Fox News!
If the left-wing radicals pass a law
To muzzle folks like Sean and Limbaugh,
You can mark it down that I said so – We’re screwed!

You Might be a “Truther”

With apologies to Jeff FoxWorthy:
If you make the statement that fire can’t melt steel despite the fact that nobody other than you said the steel in the WTC melted, you might be a “truther.”
If you assume the molten metal seen from the WTC has to be steel and ignore the fact that there were other metals in the building, you might be a “truther.”
If you think David Ray Griffin, a theologian, is a more reliable source than the numerous structural engineers that actually analyzed the collapse, you might be a “truther.”
If you automatically think black smoke is a sign of an oxygen-starved fire, despite the fact that the 1991 pictures of the burning Iraqi oil fields, which were OUTDOORS, showed copious amounts of black smoke, you might be a “truther.”
If you insist no plane hit the Pentagon or the WTC despite the many eyewitnesses who saw it, you might be a “truther.”
If you think a speeding aircraft should remain intact after hitting a wall of reinforced concrete at over 540 MPH, you might be a “truther.”
If you consider Richard Gage, who has no experience in the field of controlled demolition, to be more reliable than Brent Blanchard, who has 20 years of experience in that field, you might be a “Truther”.
If you ignore the difference between a “static” load and a “dynamic” load, you might be a “truther.”
If you think it’s impossible to move more with less, you might be a “truther.”

If you try to pass off the Payne Stewart aircraft intercept as taking 20 minutes but ignore the change from Eastern to Central time, you might me a “truther.”
If you confuse the speed of gravity with acceleration due to gravity, you might be a “truther.”
If you think that anything that sheared off of Flight 77 should have just plopped ontothe ground in clear violation of Newton’s 1st Law, you might be a “truther.”
If you only look for stuff that fits your theory and ignore everything else, yet claim to be using the scientific method, you might be a “truther.”

If Ignorance is Bliss, ‘Truthers’ are in Paradise

I have recently seen a “truther” I know of being unusually stupid- even for a “truther.”
He asked why the passengers on flight 93 decided to kill themselves if they took over the plane. They did not decide to kill themselves.
This site provides a timeline for 9/11/01.
You can see that the hijackers arrived at the airports between 6:20 am and 7:48 am, Eastern time on 9/11, and, in the case of Flight 93, one of the hijackers, Ziad Jarrah, made a call to his girlfriend at about a quarter to seven on the morning of 9/11 and, looking at the context of his call, which was recalled by his girlfriend, you can see it was the type of call a person makes to their significant other when they know they won’t see them ever again ( source ).
Just before 8 am, two passengers get off after the flight crew announces there will be a 5 minute delay in pushback, then, at 8:01, flight 93 taxis out to the runway only to be delayed for about 40 minutes due to a long line of planes waiting for it to take off in front of it- it didn’t take off until 8:42 am, ( reference ).
As an aside, since I know members of the 9/11 “Truth” Movement will attempt to point out that this site says that all pilots are trained to enter a code into the transponder that alerts air traffic controllers to a hijack situation, let’s not forget that the pilots were stabbed to death, which makes entering the code difficult, to say the least.
Getting back to Flight 93, as we see from these quotes found here, NBC News and CNN- which lean so far left that any plane their reporters get on has 2 left-wings- stated, “ That delay would give passengers on Flight 93 the time to realize that this was a suicide mission and the chance to thwart it, “and the delay “likely saved the White House or the US Capitol from destruction,” respectively.
As we see here, Flight 11 didn’t hit the North Tower until 8:46 am, 6 minutes AFTER Flight 93 took off.
Flight 175 took off around the same time that Flight 11 hit the North Tower and Flight 175 hit the South tower just after 9 am ( source).
Flight 77 hit the Pentagon a little after 9:30 am ( source ).
Flight 11 sent a routine message to air traffic control at about 20 after 9 that morning and did not receive the warning about possible hijackings until that time, which they also acknowledged; this was the final communication from Flight 93 before the hijacking occurred ( source ).
At about 9:27, Tom Burnett, who is on Flight 93 called his wife on his cell phone and let her know his plane had been hijacked( and before “truthers” say cell phones don’t work on airplanes, that’s a lie; they have been known to work on airplanes from time to time, not to mention the fact that air phones, which have been around since well before 2001, are a TYPE OF CELL PHONE) , and at 9:28, air traffic controllers noticed Flight 93 was flying rather erratically, although they did not know at the time that it was Flight 93. Cleveland ATC also heard the sounds of a struggle at about this time ( reference ).
As the first crash had occurred about 45 minutes earlier, Flight 93’s being delayed 40 minutes gave Todd Beamer and the other Flight 93 passengers plenty of time to talk with people on the ground via cell phones and air phones and realize what was happening. ( reference ). It’s obvious that they decided if they were going to die anyway, they’d rather go down fighting.
Oh, and as we see here, the passengers of Flight 93 did NOT deliberately crash the plane; they were fighting over the controls with the terrorists, which means nobody was flying the plane at the time. If nobody’s flying the plane, it’s going to crash.
The same “truther” I mentioned at the beginning of this article also thinks that people could have escaped during the roof if roof access hadn’t been blocked and that the buildings had “ rescue plan.” He thinks they could have been rescued by helicopters I have yet to see a multistory building that tells you to go to the roof in case of a fire- even your average two- to four story hotel tells you to go DOWN VIA THE STAIRS in case of fire.
Oh, and helicopters use an internal combustion engine as well, and internal combustion engines don’t work when they’re clogged with smoke and debris as they require oxygen to function.
His other “ proof” of a conspiracy is the statement that software was destroyed by the crash into the building and thinks there would have been a back-up system for the computers.
Seeing as how a mere magnet can corrupt ( aka destroy) the software, logic dictates that a plane slamming into the building at over 500 PH will probably do some damage to the software as well- that and you don’t back up the software; you back up the DATA THAT’S ON THE SOFTWARE.
He also thinks the software couldn’t have been destroyed because it was on the 22nd floor, well below the impact point. I guess he forgot about the fact that the towers collapsed. I seriously doubt that tons of construction material slamming into the software is good for it.
He also states that the system could have been restarted by a code, never mind the fact that codes have nothing to do with the software system. That and since the planes knocked out the power, entering codes wouldn’t do a whole lot of good. This is akin to the old joke, “ If you can’t access E-mail, then send E-mail tech services.”
The “truther” is thinking about the code/cards that a lot of hotels use as keys to the rooms nowadays, which needs to be connected directly to a central system ( source ). If the system is down, the key card won’t work.
On a different note, there are some pager messages from 9/11 ( hat tip to Orion for giving me the link) found here that some “truthers” are trying to use as their “proof” of a conspiracy.
In a situation like that, it’s not surprising to have people trying to reach their friends and families- and based on the context of the messages, they were sent AFTER the planes crashed and therefore, cannot be proof of foreknowledge or a conspiracy. At least one of the messages is simply telling someone not to take a certain way to work because the WTC is on fire ( reference) – there’s nothing sinister about that.
Clearly, the “truthers” have had a little too much of that “Christmas cheer” already.
Debunking William Rodriguez
October 28, 2009 by Victor Chabala
“Truthers” often use the accounts given by William Rodriguez to “prove” their assertions that the WTC was brought down by controlled demolition. However, the problem with that, as we see here, is that William Rodriguez has changed his story more times than most people change their underwear.
This quote from here “Truth” Movements position: “William Rodriguez says he heard an explosion at the WTC “just seconds before” the plane hit.
Declared a hero for saving numerous lives at Ground Zero, he was the janitor on duty the morning of 9/11 that heard and felt explosions rock the basement sub-levels of the north tower just seconds before the jetliner struck the top floors.
He not only claims he felt explosions coming from below the first sub-level while working in the basement, he says the walls were cracking around him and he pulled a man to safety by the name of Felipe David, who was severely burned from the basement explosions.”
9/11myths.com poses some excellent questions: 1) Why plant a bomb 90 floors below the impact point and have it go off at the impact point? (And how would they account for the possibility of the plane departing later than scheduled?), 2) Why increase the risk of detection, as planting a bomb there would do?
The 9/11 “Truth” Movement might make the statement that it would weaken the structure, but as 9/11myths.com points out, as the planes hit approximately 90 floors ABOVE the basement, meaning a bomb in the basement would have no effect, and furthermore, the base of the WTC was still intact.
This quote from here gives Rodriguez’s 1st account: “William Rodriguez worked on the basement level of the north tower and was in the building when the first plane struck his building.
“We heard a loud rumble, then all of a sudden we heard another rumble like someone moving a whole lot of furniture,” Rodriguez said. “And then the elevator opened and a man came into our office and all of his skin was off.”
Hmm, last time I checked, explosives did NOT make rumbling sounds- they make a short, sharp BOOM. Notice that he also mentions a man came out of the elevator with his skin all his skin off. This implies a FIRE, not a bomb. Bombs do NOT set people on fire; they blow people to bits. In addition, as we see near the bottom of the page here, a fireball took out a bank of elevators ( which means we don’t know where the elevator originally was before Rodriguez saw the man with his skin burned off exit the elevator in the basement. It seems to me that if the elevator was up high enough when the fireball took it out, then it may have been a bit loud when it hit the basement.
Check out all the yellow boxes here and you will see how Rodriguez contradicts himself, especially when he claims the media, specifically CNN, edited his interview. The problem is it was a LIVE interview, meaning it CAN’T BE EDITED!!! 9/11myths.com further points out that Rodriguez fails to mention the 14 other witnesses he claims saw evidence of controlled demolition and in his RICO suit against the Bush Administration, leaves out the explosion he says preceded the impact? Hmm, that’s just a tad suspicious.
911myths.com also raises another excellent point: Just how can Rodriguez hear explosions at the uppermost floors when he’s in the basement?
As we see here, the 9/11 ‘Truth” Movement claims there was only one elevator that serviced all floors. Once again, the 9/11 “Truth” Movement is being less than truthful, to put it mildly.
First of all, car 6 ran a good portion of the full length of the building. Second, the elevator shaft is not the only route for the jet fuel to flow. Third, the WTC used what is referred to as a “stacked” system, meaning that while most of the elevators only went to a portion of the floor, the elevator shaft itself ran the ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE BUILDING. In short, you had multiple elevators using the same shaft ( reference )
Simply put, despite their names, you can trust Michael Vick to watch your dog before you can trust the 9/11 “Truth” Movement, the “Scholars” for 9/11Truth, AE911Truth, etc to tell anything even remotely resembling the truth.
Mainstream Media Sticks up for FoxNews

Check this out. Pay close attention to 2 min 14 sec to about 2 min 20 seconds; The White House tried to bar Fox News, which has been a member of the Press Corp for some time and CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC flat out told the Obama Administration they would not interview the official in question unless Fox News was included in the invitation. I think hell just froze over.

Absolute Proof No Controlled Demolition at WTC
October 14, 2009 by Victor Chabala
Once again, I have more REAL facts about the WTC collapse, proving there was NO CONTROLLED DEMOLITION WHATSOEVER on 9/11/01, provided by FHK reader Jack Stone.
We’ll start with the North Tower.
As we see here, Marc Morial, President and CEO of the National Urban League recalls hearing an “ eerie creaking sound” right before WTC 1 fell. Hint to 9/11 “Truth” Movement: Explosives do NOT make creaking sounds; they make a BOOM. No boom = no explosives.
Here is a timeline provided by this site: A FDNY Chief Officer feels WTC 1 move and decides the building is unsafe at 9:30 am, at 9:49 am, NYPD helicopters reported “large pieces” falling from WTC 2, at 10:07, NYPD aviation units state that WTC 1 may collapse ( the concave “bowing” of the steel columns, also proof that there were no explosives, was observed at 10:06 am) and at 10:20 am, said NYPD aviation units reported that WTC 1 was leaning to the south.
Notice that this occurred over a period of FIFTY MINUTES ( and about 1 and 1/2 hours AFTER the planes hit). Since when is fifty minutes ( or 1 1/2 hours, for that matter) sudden? Again, this event was gradual; explosives are instantaneous.
Architect Bob Shelton, who was IN the North Tower, heard the building making the same cracking noise that spaghetti noodles make when you break them in half before boiling them, and stated that it was a clear indication of structural failure (reference ).
Here’s a quote from FDNY Firefighter Richard Banaciski, who was OUTSIDE WTC 1, found here: “So I was kind of looking around over there, up and down West Street and looking on Vesey and I just remember there was a police officer standing there and he just started saying, it’s starting to lean, it’s starting to lean. I remember looking up, looking at the second building and just seeing it starting to move.”
FDNY Lieutenant Robert Bohack heard what he described as a “groan, like steel twisting,” just before WTC 1 came down (source ). Again, explosives make a BOOM, that’s why they’re called explosives; they do NOT make a groaning sound.
Let’s move on to the South Tower, which has similar but fewer accounts (reference ).
This quote from here shows the truth: “FDNY Battalion Chief Steve Grabher: ‘There was – somebody was insinuating that there had been a structural collapse and this is probably’ 15 to 30, 15 to 20 seconds before the building came down. I was hearing this. There was some collapse.” Considering the raging fires, it’s not inconceivable that the structural failure resulted in the interior collapsing first, then the outside- oh, and if you’ll notice the timing in the above quote, you’ll see that that is actually well BELOW freefall speed.
Tommy Castaldi reported that the building was “swaying and shaking” and Jaede Barg stated that they heard the “sound of twisting metal” each time the building swayed (source ).
Stanley Praimnath & Brian Clark described the sounds from WTC 2 before its collapse as “being like steel bending and creaking.” (source ). Again, a clear indication that there were NO explosives.
Now, before some “truther” points out that Clark said, “ And we heard this boom, boom, boom, “ ( reference), remember one tiny little detail: Each floor of both of the Twin Towers had an area of 4,300,000 ft2 each- the 4,300,000 square-ft area is the total area of all 110 floors combined ( reference ). So, divide the total area by 110, and you have an area about of 39,091 ft 2 (before some “truther” makes the obvious statement that the actual calculation is 39,090.9 square ft, it’s called rounding), which is just shy of an acre (go here to obtain conversion). One doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that an acre of concrete slamming into the floor below it is probably going to be just a tad on the loud side.
FAA originally treated Flight 77 as Crash
October 14, 2009 by Victor Chabala
Once again thanks to FHK reader Jack Stone, here is yet another fact “truthers” won’t like.
As we see here, was originally treated as a CRASH, NOT a hijacking and this was BEFORE it hit the Pentagon.
This site provides a timeline on pages 27 and 28.
Now, here is the timeline, located here.
At about 20 minutes to 9 am ( all times are Eastern time), Flight 77 was going over West Virginia, and was handed to Indianapolis traffic control, who instructed Flight 77 to climb from 17,000 ft to 35,000 ft, and is believed to have reached 35,000 ft at about 8:54 am ( source ).
At 8:50 am, the last communication between Flight 77 and Indianapolis occurred, which was a routine communication, acknowledged by Flight 77 (reference).
Here is what occurred from 8:54 am to 8:56 am: 1) Flight 77 makes an unauthorized left turn, and drops SHARPLY from 35,000 ft, 2) The radar image and transponder for Flight 77 cut out SIMULTANEOUSLY, and 3) Flight77 disappears from the radar at the EXACT same time that the transponder cuts out, plus there was no radio contact ( source ).
Now, if the air traffic controllers see a plane drop sharply, then suddenly lose the radar image and the transponder signal at the same time, of course they’ll think the plane crashed.
Before any “truther” claims this is a lie, remember this was all RECORDED (source).
In point of fact, nobody notified the FAA of a possible hijack of Flight 77 because Indianapolis ATC thought it had crashed and asked Search and Rescue and the West Virginia State police to look for a CRASHED aircraft, not to mention the fact that Flight 77 was going the in exactly the opposite direction that it was supposed to be going, meaning everyone was looking in the wrong place and the FAA HQ was informed of a possible crash at 9:24 am ( source ).
The thing is, nobody found Flight 77 on radar again until between 9:25 am and 9:30 am, which is when Dulles Airport heading east at a high rate of speed with no transponder signal. At 9:33 am, Dulles informs both the White House and Reagan National Airport, the latter of which is closer to the city. 5 minutes later, at 9:38 am, Flight 77 slammed into the Pentagon, a warning of only 5 minutes (source ). 5 minutes is hardly enough warning, unless of course “truthers” expect the buildings to suddenly jump out of the way- which wouldn’t surprise me considering the “truther” reliance on Warner Brother cartoon physics.
Furthermore, NORAD was looking for Flight 11 north of DC (unaware that Flight 11 had hit one of the Twin Towers almost an hour earlier) because of the misinformation from the FAA (source )
Just as an FYI for “truthers,” that does NOT prove a conspiracy. Remember the Twin Towers had already been hit, so there was already a lot of confusion when Flight 77 hit the Pentagon. Confusion is typical in a disaster.
Pictures that prove “Truthers” are full of Male Bovine Droppings
September 30, 2009 by Victor Chabala
Once again, my thanks to FHK reader Jack Stone for pointing me in the direction of this Web site.
The first picture at this link shows us the wheel hub from Flight 77 at the Pentagon. “Truthers” hate this photo because it proves they’re lying about no visible debris seen at the Pentagon. Furthermore, as we see here, Dylan Avery, producer of Loose Change, compares the wheel hub of a 757 to the landing gear (in the 1st edition, anyway). Here’s a helpful hint: The wheel hub is only PART of the landing gear.
Internet Detectives also provides a picture of the wheel hub from a 757 and a 757’s landing gear- oh, and they used the EXACT SAME PICTURES THAT AVERY USED!!!
Dylan Avery also needs a math lesson, as the “logic” he uses to “prove” it was a military plane is that the landing gear had a larger radius to width ratio (source ). Any geometry book will tell you that ALL circular objects have a diameter that is double the radius.
The 2nd picture at this site “truthers” hate is the one showing the debris from the towers, specifically the north tower, hitting WTC 7. Conspiracy theorists claim that the fire and debris could not have reached WTC and caused severe damage. However, as we see from the 2nd picture at the aforementioned site, the debris cloud is, in point of fact, slamming into WTC 7, which is the brown building at the bottom-right hand corner.
The 3rd picture CT’s hate, found here, is the one showing WTC 6 was SEVERELY damaged.
The reason “ truthers” hate this one is because they claim WTC 6, which was between the towers and WTC 7- only had minimal damage. However, they clearly need to take a closer look at the 3rd picture at this site: WTC 1 is on the middle- right, WTC 5 is on the top-middle, WTC 7 is slightly above the middle-left, and WTC 6 is between WTC 1 and 7. Notice that the center of WTC 6 is gone, having collapsed.
The 4th and 5th picture this site provides are those of the SEVERE AND INTENSE fires that were clearly burning across a LARGE portion of the WTC. You will note from said pictures that there is a lot of smoke and you can see the orange flames as well.
The 6th photo conspiracy nuts hate, found here, is that of the plume of smoke from the crash of Flight 93, taken by a Mrs. McClatchey from her front porch. This site further points out that “truthers” have harassed and threatened her, which is a typical tactic of those who know they’ve been caught lying but don’t want to admit it- it also shows that “truthers” are nothing more than bullies, and therefore cowards. Oh, and before “truthers” claim that an engine was found 8 miles away from a nearby lake, as a History Channel special last August pointed out, those are the DRIVING DIRECTIONS from MapQuest. Hint: PLANES DON’T USE ROADS- the actual distance between the lake and the crash site is only THREE miles.
The 7th photo that “truthers” hate, found at this site is that of a seatbelt from Flight 93. All the wreckage, which accounts for the WHOLE plane, with the exception of the black box, has been returned to the airlines, yet “truthers” claim all of the local residents airline workers, local police and emergency services, coroners, and air safety experts involved in the operation to recover the aircraft were in on it ( source ). Good luck getting that many people to maintain their silence- you have a better chance of winning the lottery.
Picture number 8 that “truthers hate, from here, is the one of the sagging floors in WTC 2. The increase of heat cause the steel to weaken- notice, that’s weaken, NOT melt- resulting in the buckling of the towers, the bowing of columns, and the eventual collapse. However, “truthers” still insist it was brought down by explosives, while ignoring the fact that, due to the chemical composition of explosives, there’s NO POSSIBLE WAY they could have survived the impact and fires ( source ). Before some “truther” brings up the thermite/thermate lie, thermate/thermite is NOT an explosive, it’s an INCENDIARY.
The 9th photo that drives “truthers” nuts, located here is that of workmen using cutting torches to cut up the beams AFTER THE COLLAPSE. This is what “truthers” use in an effort to “prove” their “thermitic material” claim, while ignoring the fact that thermite is NEVER used in demolitions, only for cutting and welding ( source ).
Last but not least, the 10th photo “truthers hate, found at this site, is that of the debris OUT-PACING the collapse.
“Truthers” often claim the towers fell at free-fall speeds or faster than free-fall speeds ( reference ). Falling faster than free-fall, without assistance, is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE. The only way the towers could have fallen faster than free-fall speeds is if rocket engines had been attached to them.
Furthermore, as this site points out, since the debris is clearly falling FASTER than the collapse, the collapse occurred well under free-fall speeds.
“Truthers” need a check up from the neck up

Thanks to FHK reader Jack Stone, I have yet more evidence of “truther” stupidity.
A “truther” by the name of Mark S. Bilk claims in an E-mail with Jack Stone that he sent to me that he- the “truther-“ Steven Jones, that the alleged explosives were planted in the WTC as it was being built.
Of course, the problems with this claim are rather obvious, since “truthers” keep pointing the finger at George W. Bush. The World Trade Center, specifically, the Twin Towers were constructed in the late 1960’s- early 1970’s ( source), and we know for a fact it was destroyed in 2001.
This begs the following question: Just how would George W. Bush know in the late 60’s or early 70’s what was going to happen 3 or 4 decades down the road? That and if he’s able to predict the future that accurately, would he please tell me what next week’s winning lottery numbers are?
Clearly, the “truthers” need a check up from the neck up.
In an E-mail send to me by reader Jasck Stone, he details a conversation he had with a “truther by the name of AI J.
Jack Stone correctly states that the fuel entered the WTC at 540 MPH ( or 570 MPH, depending on whether you’re talking about the north or south tower)
He points out, correctly, that 30 tons of water traveling at that speed can do quite a buit of damage ( just look at the damage a tsunami can do, Indoesia in late ’04 being a case in point).
As we see here, the maximum fuel capacity of a Boeing 767, which was the type of plane that hit BOTH towers, is 23,980 gallons or 90,770 liters ( reference).
Now, lets say, for the sake of argument, that the planes had used up half their fuel before they hit the towers. That still leaves 11,990 gallons or 45,385 liters (4.5385 x 107 mL).
This site provides Newtons 1st Law of motion , also known as the law of intertia , which states, “An object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.” Oh, and before “truthers” try to say there was no unbalanced outside force, what would you call a plane slamming into the building at over 500 MPH?
Remember, the jet fuel is not actually physically attached to the plane, so if the plane breaks up, there’s nothing left to contain the jet fuel, which will continue moving forward at 540 MPH as per Newtons 1st Law.
Jet A, the standard jet fuel in the U.S. has a densidy of .8075 kg/L, which also happens to be .8075 g/mL.
Density is mass/volume, ( written as d= m/v), so mass is density times volume. Assuming the planes had used half their fuel, they would have had 45,385 L of fuel flying forward, and the mass of said fuel would be 4.5385 x 107 mL times 0.8075 g/mL for a mass of 3.67 x 1066 grams or 36,648 kg.
540 MPH is about 898 km/hr, so the energy of the fuel when it hit would be ½ (36,648 kg) (898 kg)2 for a total of 1.38 x 1010 joules. In short, the jet fuel could do plenty of damage just from the impact alone. Combine that with the fact that it’s already got 2 things it needs to start a fire, something to burn and heat, once the jet fuel was exposed to the air, which contains oxygen, large fires were inevitable.
Steel-Frame Buildings more susceptible to fire than “truthers” think

First, a sincere thanks to FHK reader Jack Stone, who sent me this and a ton of other stuff to be used in the near future.
Jack Stone sent me an article by William Sooy Smith indicating that steel-frame buildings are far more susceptible to fire then “truthers” think.
As Smith points out, steel expands and contracts with a change of temperature, just like any other material as anyone who passed 3rd grade physics would know (source ).
In point of fact, the Manhattan Savings Bank building was destroyed by the heat generated from a fire in the building NEXT DOOR (reference).
Smith further points out that no fireproofing is adequate when exposed to a hot fire, and said fireproofing must be airtight. Otherwise, the heat can get in between the fireproofing and the steel, which creates a rather obvious problem (source).
This quote from Smith’s article explains it quite nicely: “The rate of expansion or contraction of iron and steel, which are practically the same, is one one-hundredth of an inch per ft. for a change of temperature of 100º. If a vertical post or column of iron or steel is 150 feet in height, the total expansion for a change of 100º in temperature will be one and one-half inches; and for a change of 1,000º (to red heat), fifteen inches; and this change frequently occurs during a fire.
While a column changes its length fifteen inches, the integument of stone, brick, or tile expands or contracts much less, and so a “war to the death” takes place between the component part of what we call “steel buildings.”
There may be steel buildings in which the fireproofing has been so well done that they will pass through an ordinary fire without such failure. But if the steel becomes even moderately heated its stiffness will be measurably diminished, and the strength of the upright members so reduced as to cause them to bend and yield. This is more likely to occur, as the horizontal beams and girders will at the same time expand (unequally from the different degrees of temperature) and throw the posts out of vertical and into buckling positions. This is the third difficulty.
It is as if a man were required to stand upright and take upon his shoulders all he could stand under, then take a strong dose of physic and have his knees pushed from under him. “
Inflexible materials such as concrete or brick would simply crack, however, steel, being more flexible won’t crack, but it will still become weakened, hampering its ability to support the load (source).
Simply put, steel-frame buildings such as the WTC are, in fact, fire traps.
Of course, “truthers” go by the motto of “If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.” Goebbels would be proud of the “truthers.”

If you don’t think Washington, DC is part of the problem- you might be a liberal.
If you state that a President who got just under 50% of the vote as having a mandate from the people then proclaim that nearly 52% of the vote is not a mandate you might be a liberal.
If you oppose torture, but lament the removal of the world’s worst torturer since Hitler, you might be a liberal.
If you spend more on Coffee than you do on Charity, you may be a liberal.
If you think there is a right to privacy, which appears nowhere in the constitution, but not in the free exercise of religion in public, which IS in the constitution, you might be a liberal.
If you called everyone Hitler except for that little dictator who was gassing his own people, you might be a liberal.
If you decry the sexism and suffering of women around the world, but rail against anyone who would use force to end it, you might be a liberal.
If you think that businesses are greedy because they take money that others give to them willingly, but think that governments who seize money by force are benevolent, you might be a liberal.
If you think the constitution is a ‘living breathing document’, you might be a liberal.

With apologies to Jeff Foxworthy:
If you think the same government that couldn’t run Social Security, the post office, Medicare, etc is capable of running a health care system, you might be a liberal.
If you had no objections to Bush being depicted as Hitler but object to the recent posters depicting Obama as The Joker, you might be a liberal.
If you protested the war in Iraq when Bush was president, but are ignoring Obama’s increase of troops in Afghanistan, you might be a liberal.
If you complained about the deficit Bush ran up in eight years, but don’t say squat about Obama spending quadruple that amount in SIX MONTHS, you might be a liberal.
If you objected to Bush’s wiretapping program intended to catch terrorists, but had no problem with Obama’s recent Flag.gov E-mail to report “fishy information” on Obamacare, you might be a liberal.
If you consider returning military veterans, and people who reject federal authority in favor of state authority or individual rights( aka people who support the 10th Amendment) right wing extremist terrorists, you might be a liberal.
If you say you want to end politics as usual, then appoint a tax cheat as the head of the IRS, you might be a liberal.
If you think disagreeing with the Bush Administration was patriotic but disagreeing with the Obama Administration is racist, you might be a liberal,
If you put the very people who caused the Fannie and Freddie mortgage crisis in the first place in charge of fixing the problem, you might be a liberal.
If you think the anti-war protesters under Bush were exercising their 1st Amendment rights, but call the people protesting Obamacare at the Town Hall meetings Nazi’s, mobsters, etc, you might be a liberal.
