When is the next stage to Carson City?

Carson: “Hey!”

Horse: “Hay?”

Polyclitus, a great Greek writer of antiquity, or maybe Arthur Wilson, said something along the lines of “Proportion is not merely a matter of individual taste, but belongs to mathematical laws of harmony, that can only be broken at the expense of beauty”. Pretty neat, eh?

Avoid expressing yourself around the Left, Liberal or radical.
No, really. Because sports, they believe utterly in the diversity of expressing
every kind of opinion, except for yours and mine…
Dear sports, here’s a real old favourite from Saturday September 29 2007. It’s a little piece that really gave me a boost to keep on writing, even if [...]

Team Blogging and Multi-Author Blog Etiquette

» by FaultlineUSA May 15th, 2008 at 4:44 pm » Comments (10)

We bloggers are pretty independent minded and we aren’t afraid to share our opinions with the world. Independence can be isolating but blogging should never be a lonely pursuit. The loneliness of writing is usually offset by the discovery of multiple social networks where we can relate to and collaborate with other bloggers of like [...]

New York Timespeak:”Militants,” (not Islamist terrorists), Only “60 Lightly Wounded in Ashkelon,” (Nothing Compared to the numbers dead in Burma and China), And a Good Time Was Had By President Bush and other Western Celebrities in Jerusalem.

» by Phyllis Chesler May 15th, 2008 at 2:32 pm » Comments (1)

Dear Readers:
It occurs to me that I ought to have a running commentary on the anti-Israel bias in the contemporary New York Times. It is my home town newspaper and I do read it everyday. Sharing rather than silently swallowing my frustration will be an excellent tonic, and good for my blood pressure.
In today’s edition [...]

Crescent shapes with and without Islamic intent: the Obama logo example

» by forthardknox May 15th, 2008 at 7:06 am » Comments (0)

…from Alec
The two most widely recognized symbols of Islam are the crescent and the sword. Kind of amusing that Barack Hussein Obama’s campaign logo can be seen to feature both a crescent and a curved Islamic scimitar:
The crescent shape in Obama’s logo has the round part on top, just like a traditional crescent shaped mihrab [...]

What Is Justice for A Rape Victim?

» by Phyllis Chesler May 14th, 2008 at 11:56 am » Comments (1)

In the mid-1990s, women in the former Yugoslavia were being systematically gang-raped. Often, their rapes were videotaped. Many killed themselves afterwards and many more suffered serious mental illness. At one point, I was preparing to testify about Rape Trauma Syndrome on their behalf in the Hague in the Matter of Bosnia. However, it soon became [...]

Cuban ‘Revolution still lacks a laugh track. [Part 2]

In the end, all tyrants, frauds and killers do eventually contribute enormously to the happiness of the world’s people. Because control freak swine and utter frauds do eventually die. Che is dead, dead, dead, dead, dead. Ain’t that great? And [...]

    ...also watch for:

In the last WWF Survey, there were a number of Web 2.0 needs expressed, and we have been looking at options for meeting as many of those needs as possible. One of the suggestions submitted was to use already existing online programs, to avoid the expense and time of having to "reinvent the wheel" (Thanks, Dr. Bill!).

In that spirit, we are providing links to two great affordable resources online - One to help with basic computer skills, and one which is a wiki dedicated to Thriving Online, below. FHK is currently focusing specifically on developing social networking courses. Once we have accomplished that, if there is still a need for more focused training in the more technical areas, we may begin working on developing those courses, as we are able.

We are still looking for online resources for SEO and MMO which are affordable, practical, and preferably operated by right-minded individuals, so if you have suggestions, please let me know.

    Meanwhile, check these out:

Ed2Go: "The Earthnet Institute is a non-profit research institute. It partnered with Education To Go (Ed2Go), a Division of Thomson Learning, Inc. to offer highly interactive noncredit online continuing education courses that you can take entirely over the Internet. All courses include expert instructors, many of whom are published authors. Online courses are affordable, fast, convenient, and geared just for you. Explore the catalog, Click Now! [Many courses available for $89 each]

EightWeeks: This is an awesome wiki developed by Leslie Graves and the Lucy Burns Institute, to "help advocates of liberty and markets thrive online." There's an eight-week (hence the name!) "Thriving Online" course, plus a plethora of additional resources for online collaboration. There's a ton of information about wikis, and the program itself is a fantastic model for how a wiki can be used. It is funded by the Lucy Burns Institute, and is free to members. If you are interested, please send an e-mail to me (jennsierra@gmail.com), and I can get you more information, and send you invite.

Stay tuned for more information about courses we will be offering Conservative Networking Online!

What would you say to that? Kathleen: You're exactly right. I get a lot of that and what they point out generally is that men head most of the corporations and men dominate in the Congress. While that is statistically true, what I try to do in Save the Males is show where our current trends are leading...(Right Wing News)
