sitrep1.JPG No, today’s SitRep is not about a character from Star Wars. This is about Siphs, a new content-sharing site designed to make sharing websites you find with your friends much easier.

Basically, you download a browser link, then when you’re surfing and come across a page you want to forward to your friends, you just click the browser link, and fill in the info. Here’s a video demonstration.

And now, Arpan Ajhaveri has sent out the following information about a new blog beta:

Our link-blogging tool lets users post their links and associated comments publicly to their own personal, customizable page. Best of all, members can embed media such as YouTube videos, add their personal widgets, and even add their own third-party ad code to profit from their content-sharing activities. Each link blog comes with its own widget and RSS feed for easy integration into other websites or blogs. You can view a sample link-blog here…. Here’s a write up about us in
Mashable.

Check it out!
