Controlled Demolition of WTC Impossible

» by Victor Chabala in: Uncategorized

buccaneer.gifThere is no possible way for the WTC collapse to have been a controlled demolition, and the evidence is here. This is an article authored by Brent Blanchard, Senior Editor for Implosionworld.com, and Director of Field Operations at Protec Field Documentations, Inc. Protec is a widely respected authority in the area of explosive demolition, having done engineering studies, structural analysis, etc on over 1000 different demolition events in over 30 countries. (Unless otherwise indicated, all information in this particular post comes from the above article).

First off, the blast looked nothing like controlled demolition. Controlled demolitions are always started from the bottom, to take the most advantage of gravity. However, the buildings failed where the planes hit, as indicated by close examination from every video and photographic angle, and there are no independent failures- all the floors below the impact point did not fail until being hit by the collapsing floors above them. According to the aforementioned article, there are other problems as well. The first possibility is that the explosives were placed, in advance, on the exact impact floors and somehow survived the initial, violent impact and resultant explosions, not to mention extreme heat.

The chemical nature of explosives (and their reaction to heat) makes this scenario physically impossible (Hint: High speed impacts and/or extreme heat tend to set off explosives). The other possibility is that the buildings were wired while the fires were burning, which is also pretty doubtful. Of course, there’s also another problem with both possibilities. One would have to place shaped charges on the columns, which necessitates removal of walls, furniture, etc on all impact floors as one must be able to see the columns to place the charges. This would require them to have either completed the entire work in the 55 minutes between impact and collapse, or done in advance, on several floors in both buildings, without getting caught and the explosives to have survived the impact of the planes. There’s just no way it could have been done.

Oh, and just for a comparison, the 16-story New Frontier Hotel was brought down by controlled demolition on Nov 13, 2007, and required half a ton of explosives to bring it down (refer to Gizmodo.com) If 1000 pounds of explosives is needed to bring down a 16-story building, then logic (something that seems to elude the 9-11 conspiracy crowd) dictates that in order to bring down the World Trade Center, which was considerably larger, one would need a lot more than half a ton of explosives.

Hmm, Jenn, did you notice the CT’s seem to be strangely silent on this one? I wonder why? (G)

Chirp, chirp… So, if jet fuel can bring two of the largest structures in America crashing to the ground in less than two hours, then why do property owners spend MILLIONS of dollars hiring demolition crews to bring down structures when they could just pour several hundred gallons of jet fuel on them, light it up and, voila, there goes the building??? Uh, Did you get the memo that Marvin Bush and Wirt Walker III(Cousin of the Bush family) were on the board of directors for the security firm in charge of the World Trade Center that day. Marvins mommy Barbara states such in her autobiography. Hmmm? Why were all the bomb sniffing dogs pulled from the World Trade Center complex on septembr 6th 2001??? Chirp, chirp

Why is it that Conspiracy Theorists never actually read what they keep saying ? Honestly, Marvin Bush was not part of Securacom or Statasec at the time of the collapse of the World Trade Center, as he had left, I believe, in June 2000. Furthermore Securacom/Stratasec did NOT provide security as that function is handled by the PAPD.

Going even further, the idea that it was Barbara Bush’s Memoirs, is just laugh out loud funny. Considering that her “Memoir” book was written in 1993, this would either make her a prognostic, or you a liar.

    Which is it….

Tough Choice, but I’m going to go with the liar part. Though more likely just a poor researcher who relies solely on going to a conspiracy website.

Now I suppose they could be referring to the 2003 biography where the only comment about Marvin Bush is about him being in the subway under Wall Street that day and having to walk back to his hotel.

Oh and the bomb sniffing dogs removed? Well explain Sirius the dog that was killed in the building?

    Chirrp chirrpp… indeed.

Blizzabubba, I’d respond to you but Torrent29 beat me to it. Try reading something other than David Ray Griffin’s books. Oh, and for the record, if you would actually look at the facts ( although you’re obviously not interested in them), you would know it was a COMBINATION of the impact damage, the dislodging of the fireproofing, and the fires that collapsed them. Hint: Jet fuel was only the ignition source.

Torrent29, I’m pretty sure Blizzabubbu read David Ray Griffin’s book, “Debunking the Debunkers,” which is less accurate than your average tabloid. I see you beat me to the rebuttal. :)
